Not good for hot sugar
The gloves are good quality and fit my hands well but when I exposed them to hot sugar (peanut brittle) soon after I poured it out, my fingers were burning badly until I was able to get them off. So buy this with that in mind

Good for the price.
I buy these for my daughter and granddaughter who do a lot of baking. They are very pleased with the durability. The only problem is that they do not come in a large.

I love gathering my black walnuts and removing the hike is a nasty job the juice from fresh walnuts stain your hands to black these gloves never leaked an ounce of liquid on my hands I’ll definitely order them again

The gloves handle heat pretty good. And they are not overly expensive.
I use these gloves to pull salt water taffy. Handling the hot candy is pretty good, but after several times using, (maybe 12 or more) the gloves seem to go out of shape. Size medium glove ends up being an xtra large.

Not sugar working gloves at all
I had just cooked some pork butt in my slow cooker and when I took it out and started to shred (pull) the meat to make Kalua Pig(pork), I remembered I bought these gloves for sugar work. Considering the temperature or the pork is wayyyyy less than the temperature of pulled sugar, I figure it would've been a breeze to pull the pork real quick and get that out of the way, only that wasn't the case. about 15 seconds into shredding the meat, my fingers started to burn through the gloves. I immediately got frustrated because I knew I ordered two pairs of these gloves thinking I can some day pull sugar. But now I know I can't. If this gloves can't even handle the temperature of cooked pork, it surely can't handle pulled sugar temperature. I was very disappointed and threw the gloves away. I'll re order sugar working gloves, but most likely from another company. What a bummer.

Handy gloves!
Great thermal gloves. I use these to knead mozzarella, not play with sugar, but the heat is there just the same. They fit well on a woman's hands and allow me to work like I would without gloves at all. Clean up nicely and I hang them to dry. As good as I'd hoped they'd be.

You can probably get better quality gloves from Walmart. I used these to work with sugar and I had a hole in them within an hour.

Don't even bother
We bought these gloves thinking they were thicker than regular ones for our baker. Since they are called sugar gloves, we thought they were better suited for hot temperatures, but they are not. They are no different than the cheap ones you can get at a Dollar Store to wash your dishes, so do not spend the extra money for these. They are just overpriced dish-washing gloves.
