This is a lifesaver under the hood.

Get one, or something like it. I've found nuts and bolts and even a 1/4" adapter in the subframe from years ago that I didn't even realized I dropped.

For the price.....EXCELLANT. Very strong, gets in close quarters, hold strong. All mechanics especially the back yard types (me), should have one. Also works good if you drop bolt etc in yard and cant find. Just run it along the ground till you find it. PS, sometimes its not where you expect it to be lol.

Defective Item

Received item on 10.16.2021. Removed from package. Pocket clip broke off within 5 minutes of use. I'll use this one in a tool kit and not as a 'carry' item.

I needed a good extendable magnet, because as I age, I am growing less and less willing to bend down any more than absolutely necessary. This is an extra strong picker-upper, and I am very happy with it, would recommend it to friends.

Good pick-up tool

Good if you want to grab something metallic from way back [if not heavy]. Could of been better if the magnetic head was removable so you can attach [for example] a cable to it and pull it though. The head may be too wide. The clip at the end broke off. Wasn't really needed. Unscrewed the tip and removed the leftover piece.

Good retractable magnet

Feels good, solid. Specifically it's a telescoping rod and they're not terribly sturdy to begin with, just the nature of the tool. This one is about as sturdy as it gets with a decently-powerful magnet on it. Very pleased with this product's design and build. Would buy again.

Magnetic attraction

This thing has some serious magnetic power. I was testing around the kitchen when i opened it. It picked up cutlery, kitchen knives, a mason jar... It will be more than adequate to pick up loose screws nuts and bolts in the garage. It was an add on for under $7. I could probably find one cheaper at the dollar store but i would not expect the same quality.

Good value, cheap magnet for light duty use.

A magnet is a must have in any tool box. Saved my behind a few times within the week. That said, this unit is good for home/hobby use. I wouldn't recommend it for professional use.

It works wonderfully to find my stuffs....

Fast delivery, good quality, strong magnet. I am happy with it! I used it a few times already to look for washer that I lost outdoor inside some wood dust, screws I splattered/fell all across my workshop. It is wonderful that I found them as I swept the magnet across the area without moving most of my stuffs.
