Still brand new, but NOT working like it's supposed to.

So far, so good. We got this installed yesterday and had hot water immediately. It is supposed to reset to the last temperature used after it comes back from stand-by, but the first time it went into stand-by, we had to reset it. The next time it worked like it was supposed to. We only have 2 people in our 3/2 house so I think this unit will suffice for our needs. It's not meant for a household with many water outlets or many people. Installation wasn't difficult. Expect to spend about $780 - $1000 on installation if you can't do it yourself. As with all water heaters, the warranty may be invalid if you choose to do it yourself (unless you're licensed electrician), but for such an inexpensive unit, you'll have to decide if you're willing to take that chance. I'm not sure if Amazon's expert installers are licensed, but I would assume they would let you know that up front since that determines whether you have a warranty or not. We had to run new 6/2 gauge wire and change the breaker from 30 amp to 60 amp, which was expensive to purchase, but fairly easy to do. The website and manual have several conflicting numbers regarding wire size and breaker amperage. Use 6/2 & 60 amp even if you see 8 AWG and/or 50 amp because it pulls 11kW per the technical specifications in both, the installation guide and online (where is also says to use the 6 AWG and 60A). Plumbing wasn't difficult either. Cold water goes in, hot water comes out. Hooks right up to your existing plumbing. Update - The unit stopped working completely on 10/4/17. I'm contacting customer service now, but they have higher than normal call volume, therefore long hold times. After 16 minutes, I had to leave a voicemail message. I'll update my review upon resolution.

Excellent water heater!

We have a small 2 bedroom home. This water heater is perfect for us. It's very lightweight. I first thought "this is a water heater?" But, we're very pleased with the temp. The water gets hot and stays hot.

Replaced 2 N120 Titan water heaters

Bought two units this year have the house divided into two hot water zones, one a master bedroom bath, and laundry service and another a second bedroom bath, a half bath for guests and the kitchen, including dishwasher, first one a 150 model and the second a 110 model to replace 2 older Titan N120 units, both working like a charm so far. Easy install since I already had the electrical part in place, the units come with a pigtail and even a wall hole drill pattern card to make it easy to locate on the wall, very thoughful. Let's give them some time to see the long term performance vs. Titan, fingers crossed!

agua muy caliente sin fin

es el segundo que compro para mi y ya recomende a otra persona y le funciono excelente, el primero lo compre hace 5 años y al cuarto fallo dejo de calentar marco un codigo de error, y cuando supe que pieza tenia que cambiar mande un correo al fabricante para comprar la pieza y sorpresa tiene garantia de 5 años solo pague 13 dolares de envio desde florida y me enviaron la pieza gratis, facil de cambiar(solo era el sensor de entrada de temperatura) y sigue funcionando excelente agua muy caliente, se tiene que poner cable segun el intructivo numero 6 yo le puse numero 8 y funciono muy bien no se sobrecalienta. Actualizacion: al abrir el paquete me encuentro con el calentador con daños es como si se hubiera golpeado habia partes de plastico quebradas sueltas y la tapa estaba solo sobrepuesta, es como si se hubiera caido y al moverlo salio agua no traia los tapones puestos, yo no creo que sea nuevo, desafortunadamente el calentador era un regalo para una persona 120 millas al sur de usa, dificil traerlo para enviarlo de regreso, por las restricciones del covid, al parecer si enciende falta ver si funciona bien, es triste que engañen asi, el paquete por fuera estaba impecable. aclaro que es el primero que le compro a este vendedor.

Adjusting temps for shower use

If your planning on going with this heater for household use, expect to lose water pressure for taking showers. Also be sure you put cut off switches at the tank to adjust pressure. After the tank was installed, sink faucets worked great but I had issues with the shower water warming up to comfortable temperatures. I then found a new water saving shower head at the local big box store that had a flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute. This fixed the issue with the shower other than losing a some pressure.

Works great for point of use.

I have mine for point of use only, feeding kitchen and dishwasher. It is plumbed from hot water from main hot water heater to inlet on point of use, bringing temp from 75 f to 125 in seconds.A huge improvement from three minutes before.
