No adhesion comes with the product.

Well made product however there is no adhesion that comes with the product. If the piece of furniture does not move, then there is no problem. If the furniture will be moved, look for another product.

Works like a charm on carpet

My chair legs were exactly 1 1/4", so it was a little difficult to get these on the chair. However, I used a flathead screwdriver to help extend the slider and get it over the chair leg, and that really helped. Now, my office chair easily slides across the carpet when I need it to. I'm so glad I purchased these.

Chairs quite easily after applying

The chair glides were easy to put on the legs of the chairs. They stretched slightly to fit an oval-shaped chair leg. The outdoor patio chairs glide easily after applying the item. They do wear out after heavy use and must be replaced

Great product!

okay so I've only had these for a couple days now, and I bought them specifically for a very heavy coffee table (see pictures). This coffee table is a large shadowbox that houses my collection of crystals and minerals, and it is very close to 100lbs. I need to move it occassionally but it is on a rug and that makes it difficult without having to lift it. So I went in search of gliders. Found these little fellas that are the same size as the little black feet on the legs of my table. I stretched the sliders over the feet and voila! Slides like butter. I was concerned initially because the reviews said these don't work with heavier pieces of furniture. This is not the case for me, but I have a feeling that has to do with the fact that the feet are the same size as the sliders without any extra space--they fit quite tightly. If they were loose they might eventually slip off but I don't see that happening here. It is very easy for me to move the table now and I am very happy with my purchase! I'll update the review if anything changes but I don't foresee that happening!

The Original is the best!

I LOVE these sliders - I have tried other brands, but they didn't have a slip on style, and the adhesive on the bottoms would eventually give out, PLUS they only come in Band-Aid color! I found that stretching them once or twice gives them a bit more flexibility to stretch over the foot of my dining room chairs - the black blends in with my wrought-iron and they glide effortlessly, even on my heavy chairs!

Saved my old wooden chairs

ORIG REVIEW 3/26/17: I've got a couple of old wooden chairs that are quite sturdy but each chair had lost at least one of the nailed-in original glides from its foot. This meant there was an exposed nail head - not so good for the floor! At first I went and bought replacement glides and nailed them in. Unfortunately, they soon loosened and came out, probably because I used the original nail hole and my talent with such repairs is pretty low. (I'm the sort of fix-it person who would rather use a tension rod than figure out how to put up a curtain rod ... if you know what I mean LOL) Next, I tried these Magic Sliders which were a bit of a pain to get on - you sort of stretch the black rubber opening around the chair leg. But HEY TOTALLY WORTH IT!! They've been on the chair legs for over six months now and they're still going strong. Even if they start deteriorating and come off, I'll just buy more and replace them. The chairs slide great across the floor ... this is one of those quiet little products that just plain solves the problem without much fanfare. UPDATE 7/30/18: The same magic sliders have been on those same old wooden chairs for over a year and a half and they still work great. Amazing!

A step up from felt stick on protectors

You must choose the right size for the chair legs. That done. It's easy and they work really great. The felt stick on protectors gathered dirt and dust and hair and they don't stay at stuck to the chair leg. These have been on for months with no problem. Important to keep the floor free of any grit or dirt that could scratch the flooring.

Chair moves easily.

Put them on one chair to try them. They allow the chair to move easily on vinyl plank flooring. I will watch for signs of wear on the floor and see how they stay attached to the chair legs. Very happy so far.

Awesome sliders

I put these on wood chair legs and they went on easy and protect my floor and make the chairs easy to move. I would purchase again if needed.

Magic Sliders

I have been using Magic Sliders for years, and I have loved them. I had always bought them at Home Depot in Ontario, Canada. I cannot find them here any longer, and I have shopped in several cities. Hence, I found them here. A product so great is worth searching for. Jude.
