Incredible quality

These are so nice for moving chairs around frequently. They even slide on very thin area rugs! I'll be purchasing more.

Peaceful Dining!

Oh my word! What an awesome product! It's cheap, and it works beautifully! We recently bought eight Amish chairs for the cabin that we built. When they were delivered, they came with plastic, stick-on "gliders" to place on each chair leg. They worked great on the tile floor, so I decided to track them down for home. We also have Amish (very heavy, solid wood) chairs at home and the racket they make as you push away from the table has been deafening. For almost 18 years! I found these "Magic Sliders" as the closest thing to what the furniture store had given us and ordered them. When I them on at home and pulled the chair away from the table, it was literally an "Ahhhh...." moment. So easy, so smooth, so QUIET! I immediately order a set for my parents-in-law, who also have the Amish chairs and tile floor. They loved them so much that they asked me to put them on their table, too. Now they can easily move chairs and table. Since they still do their own housework (at age 83 and 88!), they were tickled pink with their "gift." I honestly haven't seen my mother-in-law's eyes sparkle like that in weeks. :) Now for the kicker: we came up to the cabin this weekend for the first time since I bought the Magic Sliders. The chairs up here (with the furniture store gliders) do not move nearly as smoothly - or quietly - as the ones at home. So I just ordered another four packages.

Magic slide off

Magically slide off of the bottom of the chair leg. I cleaned the surface of the leg bottom of a brand new chair with acetone to insure a good bond two days later they had all but come off. just barley hanging on. I would not recommend.

Might have been defective but company resolved by replacing

These are the original Magic Sliders and so i bought them. We prepped the chairs properly. Within a month, all sliders came off, mostly separated between the glue attachment and the resin slider. Thanks to other reviewers, i had the idea to clean and try sticking again. Was able to clean and re-stick with contact cement. So far, it's been three months and they are working as expected. i really appreciate that Magic Slider Company understood my problem. They thought i would be better off with a different kind of slider. They graciously replaced the original ones with the kind you nail in, for free. Nails can be a problem, though, because if the slider comes off the nail which is sticking out the bottom of your chair leg, the nail can badly damage your hardwood floors very quickly.

Magikazam!....for a while

Updated: changed from 5 to 3 stars 11/28/2021 the slick wore off of the heavy use item after a month or so. still better than nothing, but not much. the things that aren't moved as much are still working great. Original review july 2021 It really is like magic. I used these for my swivel/rocker/recliner, my wardrobe, and my TV stand all on a tile floor. The 80 lb chair used to need both hands and a good bit of effort to move; now I slide it out of the way with one hand like it's on wheels. Will recommend to friends.

Smaller than one inch

I was looking for a slider to go under my new chairs for the carpet. I thought 1 inch should work even though it was a tad smaller than I needed. Well these are even smaller than one inch. It says on the package one inch, but when I measured them they were barely 7/8" This could work in your favor if you have something just under one inch. I'm not sure why they are marked as 1" when they are smaller than that, but other than that they attached easily and slide ok, I just wish they were the size that they are marked as. Christmas tree problem solution

I thought these were "cup" style where the leg would rest in a lipped cup. Instead they are flat, and have adhesive (double-sided tape) to attach them to the leg. I haven't had a chance to actually try them out as I am using them on the bottom of the stand for our artificial Christmas tree. Once I had the tree assembled and decorated, I could barely get it into position as the four stand legs dug into the carpet. I thought of looking for sliders as I've used the bigger ones before and they work great. I'm just hoping the adhesive works well enough to keep the sliders attached while in use. If they fail, I may still be able to try something like Gorilla Glue for the next time. Overall, I'm pretty sure they will function as intended and help with repositioning the heavy tree.

Fell off in 2 days of very light use

These fell off after less than 2 days of light use. They worked well until they fell off

I only received the 20mm ones,so I was given a discount in place of the 25mm ones.They have made my arm chair much easier to move.

Used these on a chair on carpet. The chair slid slightly better than before. The sliders came off so had to glue them on. So far so good.

Waste of money

Nowhere on any of the information did it say not suitable for chairs with angle legs waste of money not fit for purpose as soon as you sit the the adhesive pad is not strong enough to hold the slider on old kitchen style chairs
