Screwed into bottom ring of iron pedestal chairs.
This took a bit of doing, but was so worth it! These chairs have a round base tubing at the bottom of a central pedestal, no legs. We drilled and threaded 4 new holes per chair, and purchased different screws than what came with the slides to go through just the bottom of the round tubing at the base. What a difference! These slides have a nice THICK layer of teflon that will wear for a long time. They slide so easily now on ceramic tile.

Perfect
These are hard to find and was so happy that Amazon has them. They help protect the floor and makes it so easy to slide the chair. I hope they last as long as the ones I replaced them for. They seem to be good quality so I think they will.

These are definitely the best sliders
We’ve used Magic Sliders for different applications over the years. We use the really large ones to move furniture around and even our full-sized keyboard. MS used to make very small ones (3/8”?) and we have those under all our counter appliances. All brilliant. When we got a new wooden floor in our kitchen, we tried a few different felt sliders for our chairs, first because the screw-ins were slightly bigger than the diameter of the chair leg, and also because the height of the chairs would come up about 3/16”. Ultimately, we went with the screw-ins because, especially when you’re in the chair, it really glides smoothly along the floor. It was certainly the right decision. I only wish MS would make more small sizes and bring back the very small ones. They are incredibly useful, especially for pigs like the Kitchenaid mixer. Good company, high quality product.

So far so good; screws supplied inadequate
I bought these because the new tile we have in our kitchen is not glazed and felt feet stick on the surface. Also, the MagicSliders that slip over the end of the leg kept getting pulled off when the chairs were moved and get marred by the tile. These seem to offer the best combination of glide-ability and floor protection that I have found to date. These are a little small for our kitchen chairs which have a 1+ inch diameter feet; these are 3/4”. Not sure if MagicSlider makes them in larger diameter, but now that I know these are up to the task, I will either order more in a larger size or see how these hold up before ordering for the rest of our kitchen chairs. Another review mentioned problems with the Phillips head screws that are provided with these sliders. I would definitely agree. Kind of amazing that no one tests these things. Just throw away the ones they supply and use Phillips or others with deeper screw head. I would pre-drill the holes for the screws. I only gave 3 Stars because the screws are not up to the task and I am not certain how these will hold up.

Magic Sliders helped me turn a table into a moveable caddy in just minutes!
Magic Sliders transformed an oddly-sized, rectangular table into a moveable kitchen caddy when I quickly drilled holes into each of the four legs of an old wooden table I could have easily given away. Instead, I painted the table a bold, peppy red and installed the incredibly easy-to-use Magic Sliders screws (and nails) and suddenly had a table I could move all over the kitchen. To my great surprise, the entire project was done in under ten minutes. The BEST part of Magic Sliders is that the nails fit PERFECTLY into the round discs, allowing for an installation time of mere instants with a drill. The fit of the screw into the disc is delightfully precise. That is not always the case with discs and screws. I have tried to attach wheels (with much more difficulty) before trying this innovative gem. Magic Sliders are the DIY helper that's so simple to use, it will work for those who don't think they can "do it themselves." With just a gentle push of the refurbish, when prepping a meal or dining casually, I can move ingredients and bowls all over the kitchen and tote big bowls of items to the table that would have been too heavy to carry easily with a gentle push of the refurbished tables. An inexpensive and absolutely terrific product.

Defective Unusable screws.
Most of the packs I ordered were complete, and these sliders are really effective. However, some of the packs I received included screws that were unusable due there being fractions of other screws and bits of metal stuck in the Philips head. The item is not eligible for return so just in case, order an extra pack or two.

These screw in glides are perfect on laminate flooring.
Product is easy to install. They will last 2-3 yrs of everyday use on kitchen chairs.

Great for chairs
Just put in a luxury vinyl floor in my Ding Room. I have used felt and also tennis balls on the bottom of my chair legs to help move the chairs easier and prevent scratching. With 2 dogs in the house both attracted the dog hair and they were not as easy to slide as I had hoped for. Decided to buy these magic sliders. I have six chairs so I decided to buy one packaged to see how they would work. When I received the first package to my surprise there were only 7 sliders instead of 8 !. Oh well I did one chair and found they were great. I decided that I would order 3 extra packages to finish the job. I guess I will hang on the the other 3 in case I need one to repair a chair in the future.

The only thing that works for my textured luxury vinyl floor
We installed new luxury vinyl flooring. Love my new flooring but it has a bit of a texture to it. No felt pad or even sticky sliders would stay. These screwed on ones are perfect!
