It works

But if you are drilling a hole for wiring just 1 or 2 times a year, consider buying a more expensive milwaukee bit with a hole to place a wire dragging sock or tie to pull the wire through...its much faster than fishing around with a fiberglass rod set. With the rod set, you are really close to the price a milwaukee bit with wire dragging hole.

Broke twice

I used this to drill through 18 inch wood timbers. It made it through about 6 then snapped from the tip of the drill. I was able to cont using it because of its long length but then after about 8 more holes the tip snapped making it unusable. My Irwin bit is holding up much better.

Worked for my needs

Good quality but only had a 3/8” shaft. But was able to drill through 10” of 7075 aluminum. The drill point was ground to an angle more suited for wood but it worked

Bit broke after 5 uses

Bought this to drill holes behind drywall to run ethernet cables. Bit shattered after a handful of uses. Giving three stars because it broke after drilling my final hole.

This works well.

Had to drill a hole through 5 treated 4x4's in a retaining wall in order to pin them together with rebar. This bit worked great. Would certainly recommend.
