serves purpose for odor control

I wanted to try non clay alternatives. I have bought pretty litter and this one. CONS My complaint with this and pretty litter is they track alot more than any other litter because they adhere to everything. it is very dusty as others have said which makes me uncomfortable. I do not like that its sharp little crystals. it sticks to fur and the cats can get it in their eyes. Its a little pricey. PROS Odor control is suprisingly good and this clumps well. after scooping its basically oderless and also pretty. this serves its purpose for the litter box i have near the kitchen. i hate litterboxes but i have to have one there. I believe the high cost is made up for that this is not wasted as much as other litters. scooping is very clean.

Urine clumps to box

Bought because I love cats but hate the smell and it did help eliminate the cat smell from the room. However, the urine clumps to the bottom of the box like cement I have to scrape it off every evening as opposed to scoops. They recommend once a month but I found myself changing the litter every other day for two cats because all the crystals were urine soaked or caked to the bottom. I was bummed out and don’t plan to purchase again.

Very Dusty

I have now purchased this litter twice but will not be making another purchase. It is most definitely NOT 99.9% dust free. The dust from this litter is just as bad as when clay litter is used. The litter that ends up on the floor is more tolerable on the feet than that of regular litter. It just feels like sand. The clumping is good most of the time. Sometimes I have to scoop out the little pieces that fall away from the urine balls. As for the smell, it mostly does the job of masking the odor. Our cats love this litter, but then again they do not have to dust off everything.

Very Happy!

VERY HAPPY! This is quite expensive but there aren't many choices when it comes to clumping crystals. My cats love love love crystal litter and reject just about any other type! I tried OKO wood, Sweetscoop, and others. I desperately wanted a clumping crystal litter and tried this one. It scoops out clean and the litter is very lightweight; like walking on a cloud. Fluffy! Much softer on their toes than the PetSafe Crystals I have been using. So far, so good. Very happy I bought this one.

Ehh

This stuff would clump so hard and stick to the bottom of the box, I would have to use excessive force to remove it. A bit too much work just to scoop pee. I liked the fineness of the product, similar to Pretty Litter.

Fine Granules worked well

This product has fine granules, which is what I was looking for in a cat litter. The tracking is much less than other silicon litter and your feet don't hurt when you step on the tracked "sand". If you keep the litter box at least 3 inches full or better the litter will not harden and stick to the bottom of the litter box. It is very difficult to get the wetted litter off the bottom of the box. If you fill extra full it is easy to scoop and keep the box clean. I do clean the box 2 times a day for 2 cats. I don't know how one can only scoop once a week without an icky mess in the box. The granules lock in moisture and odor better than clay or "natural" litters. You do need to empty the box and refill at least 1 time during the month.

Great but expensive

How did litter get so expensive? Thank goodness it’s not cold this winter so my cats have a back up – my backyard.

Won’t Buy it Again

Good stuff: Very lightweight Not so good stuff: Doesn’t really clump. Hard to scoop out of box. We live in a warm climate and this litter seemed to attract more than its share of flies. I bought this because Amazon alerted me to a deal. We operate a nonprofit special needs cat rescue, so we use a lot of litter. We won’t be buying this one again.
