Sleep Number bed topper replacement. Great plush top with adjustable firmness.

We have loved our king sleep number bed because of the side by side air adjustable firmness. My wife setting is 70, I am 50. We had the older C model, no topper, so we always added a 3" memory foam topper and a plush, pillowy, water proof, mattress pad. The combo of dialing in the firmness with the air, and plushness of the topper & pad gave us the best sleep. It is awesome. Now, we get a new bed, cuz we wanted the base to tilt up the head (and feet) which helps for snoring. We need a spit king (3 twin-xls) for the this. Loved the tilting, snoring is better, but hated the foam toppers that came with the i8. It's foam did not really spring back and had only 1/4 inch bumps. We removed them and replaced them with two twin-XL of these 3" memory foam toppers. They resembled the king version we had before. The bumps add cooling as previously. We loved them. As good, if not better than our old ones. Out of the box, they smelled just a bit, and it dissipated before we slept on them the first night. They unrolled and puffed up in less than 20 min. They fit well on the twin-XL mattress and the pad held them in place individually very well. You can see that they are really 3.4 in high (in picture) to the peaks and 2 in in the valleys. They also spring back nicely as our old ones did when you press your hand on. We bought these tentatively because of all the reviews and varying pictures. But they look like they should, blue, thick and bumpy, and work like they should too. I think the bad reviews and pictures are all old ones or from a bad batch or something. We Love em. A bit pricey for the pair of twin-xls to make a king. Thought about buying the cheaper solo king version and then just cutting them in half but didn't. They should sell tow xl-twins as a pair and give a discount. PS: The WhatsBedding Waterproof Mattress Pad Twin XL pair nicely with these memory foam toppers. Nice and puffly and plush pads.

Worked great!

We used this to place over our pull out couch, the couch is not a pull-out bed so there are some parts of the “bed” that have hard spots which can be uncomfortable. I was nervous that my mother in law would have trouble sleeping on the couch without extra support. She loved this and slept very well, at least that’s what she told me! It took about 20-30 minutes to fully “inflate” but stayed very sturdy. It does fit back in the box if you wrap it tightly enough!

it should be hung outside for a day before bringing into house. It stinks.

I love the fact it keeps the heat in my waterbed from escaping. In the summer, it protects me from too much heat. It is so comfortable, you can't tell it's a waterbed.

Not the same product as before and not very good

I purchased this product two years ago and LOVED it. It transformed my bed into a place I looked forward to at the end of the day. It was ridiculously comfortable, you didn't sink into it, it offered great support and it didn't hold in heat at all. I loved it so much that after 2 years I thought it might have been getting worn out so I ordered another one. Once I opened this new one and let it expand, I noticed it didn't have the same egg-crate quality that the first one did. Once it fully expanded it wasn't consistent in it's thickness and didn't have the same depth of raised and depressed areas and I thought it might have just been defective. I emailed Linenspa and was told that this was in fact a new design and that's how it was supposed to look. I slept on it for a few weeks and found that I kept waking up in the middle of the night having to switch sides of the bed because I was soaked in sweat. I also didn't feel like it was nearly as supportive as the first one as I felt "stuck" in this pad, I didn't have the same freedom to roll over, it took much more effort to move. After giving it 3 weeks I just took it off my bed as I didn't want to wake up soaked in sweat anymore. My sleep quality was declining. I emailed the manufacturer again and after a few emails back and forth I was told to PURCHASE DIFFERENT SHEETS even though the sheets I was using were in fact what they were suggesting I purchase, bamboo sheets. After getting that response I realized it was time to go back to amazon to return the product but as I attempted to do so I found that my return window had just closed. So now I'm stuck with this $100 topper that's rolled back up just sitting in the box. I put the old topper back on and haven't had any issues. I'm wildly disappointed with this "new design" and would not recommend it. I'm also really disappointed in the manufacturers response to this. If they actually stood by their product they wouldn't have dragged out their customer service responses to several days each time. A part of me thinks they did it on purpose so that I'd be past the return window and i'd be stuck with this as I am now without any options. If they returned to their old product I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. But their current product is not worth it.

Pretty impressed

I’m impressed with the quality of this memory foam. After 24 hours it evenly expanded is a uniform 3 inches. It’s super comfortable, even laying on it on the floor it cushions pretty well. It’s also very light. My previous mattress topper was much heavier, this one is very easy to move.

Bumps definitely aren’t as defined as the pictures show, but still very comfortable.

It’s definitely very cushioning and plush and pressure relieving, which is important to me as I’m 90% bedbound. The egg crate bumps aren’t anywhere nearly as defined as they show in the picture which is a little disappointing, but it’s still a very good product. I am using this to replace my former alternating air pad mattress topper to prevent pressure sores. It’s much more comfortable and I sleep deeper since my bed isn’t constantly shifting under me like it does with the other air topper, plus I’m hoping it will last much longer as the air toppers need replacement every six lonthxx so or so, whereas I’m hoping this topper will last me a few years at least.

It’s like sleeping on a cloud!

It’s like sleeping on a cloud! I had a knee replacement which affected my hip, I’m still pretty bendy although I am approaching 60, but I was starting to get extreme hip pain from our lumpy and far too firm mattress. From the first night we put this on top of our mattress, we both slept more soundly then we had in a year. My husband and I wake up in the same position we went to sleep in, that’s a pretty good recommendation! No tossing, no turning, no discomfort! I highly recommend this product! Belle Bush

Very comfortable and soothes your body/sleep

My partner and I bought a really great mattress - but then found it to be too firm. We both sleep on our sides, and sometimes back. This mattress topper came in reasonable size packaging, it rose to its proper height honestly so quickly, we opened it late evening and slept on it that night. And for us there was no associated smell at all to the topper. It's really comfortable, you can feel the impact the egg-crate style has on your body and provides so much support. We used to have neck and back discomfort, now I know my body is where it should be while I am sleeping and I look forward to laying in it every day!

Mummy loves her new mattress!

I took this mattress to Cuba. My best friend’s mother broke her hip and was confined to bed. The mattress was a great relief for her mum. It aloud her to feel comfortable with very little back pain. Thanks to the support and comfort she now say being stuck in bed a joy. This may even help with her bed sores. I would recommend this as a mattress topper.
