Works as expected

Works as expected, only reason for the 4 stars is it can be a bit difficult to plug into the AC outlet portion of this receptacle set. Seems the "Hospital Grade" rating may include how difficult it is for an AC device to come unplugged (think of the consequences in a hospital setting) so getting something plugged in to those outlets can be a bit difficult. On the other hand the receptacles in the 'regular" (non USB powered/non hospital grade) outlet this replaced were so loose that power cords would not stay in so I'm glad to live with the slight inconvenience.

Very easy install and works as advertised

I used this to replace a standard outlet in our kitchen island that needed to be brown. I used the corresponding Leviton wall plate along with this and had them changed out in 10 minutes. Very easy install and works as advertised. The green circle on the outlet is not a light but rather a subdued green circle that is painted on the outlet. If it bothers you then you could cover it up with brown touch up or something but we don't notice it. May get another one of these for the other side of the island since it was such a simple fix.

Fast charge

Very well made. Such a heavy duty outlet that I do not have to worry about failing. Charges my phone super fast. I am planning on purchasing for for other rooms in my home.

Installed in kitchen

I installed this when remodeling our kitchen; looks and works great for charging our phones and providing an outlet for the coffee maker. USB output is 2.1 amps. The usb outlets can be used at the same time as the AC outlets which is very handy.

Wicked product

It's a nice treat to have a built in usb connection on your power outlet. And with the 3.6 amp charge. It's the fastest charge time in the industry. Only draw back is I wish it had a green light to let you know when your phone is plugged in and when charging is complete. Either way. Well worth the money

Great device

Best idea in a long time. Seems to work well. Charges the iPhone 5 and Samsung note 4 with no problems. Also worked for the iTouch and Kindle Fire. Have had NO compatibility issues so far. Got the HG hoping it truly is commercial grade. Highly recommend this for the convenience.

Batting 500 on these...and no joy from Amazon.

I bought two T5632-HG from Amazon.com on March 23, and installed them sometime in April. Sometime in June we noticed that one of the units would sometimes not charge iPhones (we tried different phones in both usb ports). This has happened more and more frequently until now it will only rarely charge iPhones. It charges iPads and some other devices without problem. The other unit works fine. I can't return the faulty item through Amazon, so I am trying to get a replacement from Leviton. If I can, then I will raise the rating, since it is great when it works (and the other one is great...so far.) In a way, this is an unfavorable review of Amazon. This item is faulty; why can't I return it and let Amazon deal with Leviton? Isn't that what retail is for?

Nice to have in our kitchen for charging phones etc... Not fond of the green dot but oh well. The screws on the matching cover are a little to long so I'll need to file them down.
