Very cute
Ok I bought this for my son and he does not sleep in it but loves to sit and play on his bed with his toys or a book

Only one problem
This is a great bed except for the side attachment block that sticks out. The corner is right where my daughter climbs out of bed and she scrapes her leg on the corner. If it was rounded or in a different location it would be fine but really bad placement and a little too sharp for a toddler bed.

Not super easy to assemble.
Not super easy to assemble especially when putting in the slats. It’s super cute though!!

Great for transitioning toddler between crib and bed! Seek out toddler bedding if you want a comforter!
Adorable little bed for my 2 year old daughter who is transitioning from a crib, but who is small and would be overwhelmed by a twin bed right now. Love the color! It took about an hour and a half to put it together (recommend you use a power screwdriver to save yourself time, instead of using the "tools" provided...which are much like any other furniture tools you receive.) My daughter's room is lavender and cream and has hardwood floors and the bed looks great in there and doesn't take up too much room. We placed one side against the wall for extra safety but the short rails near the headboard make her feel secure! I was concerned she was getting into a habit of sleeping in "mommy's bed" but (fingers crossed!!) she has been excited to sleep in her "big girl bed" the last three nights. We made a big deal about how she was getting her own bed, and let her pick out her own new bedding for it (by the way, this does fit a standard crib mattress, so it's nice to not have to invest in a new mattress too!) We found bedding for toddler beds on Pottery Barn Kids (pricey, but really great quality) I imagine it would be difficult to find the right size comforter unless you specifically buy toddler size bedding since this is smaller than a Twin bed and companies don't make comforters for cribs because of safety reasons. You can use a standard crib sheet, and we purchased top sheets from PB kids as well. I hope this helps someone else!

Cute and Sturdy
Hard to assemble if not a handy person (and think ahead)! Also, the pre-drilled holes are not aligned as well as desired (IKEA is better). So, don't tighten screws until things are aligned as well as possible. The difficult part is assembling the slats into both sides and holding it all together until the side legs are screwed into place (which will secure the bottom all together for the rest of the assembly). It is not too difficult if one side with the center slat and center/side leg already attached is laid flat on the floor. Then have another person hold the other side steady while someone inserts all slats into their slots starting from one side and working toward the other end. While the helper holds the whole bed steady, use 2 ratchet straps (or even 2 ropes) to hold the entire assembly together until the remaining side leg can be screwed into the center slat.

A trick for assembly
Very cute when finished. It made transition from a crib to a “big boy bed” very smooth to just be able to move his mattress right over. Many people have said assembly was frustrating. My husband and I ditched the directions and assembled it like this: attach both the headboard and the footboard to one side, lay it on its side, put in the slats vertically then put the last side on across the top. Avoids the frustration with keeping all the floating slats in place. I will echo that the center bracket didn’t line up well with the pre-drilled holes on the side rails but we just said we won’t get on it ourselves!

For $60, a little of your time and sanity, you can own this bed.
So, I’ve got a few complaints, but before I start there, I’m going to mention that I’m will be keeping the bed. Pros: - For ~$60 it’s not a bad bed frame. - The grey is a really nice muted grey. - Doesn’t break under “average adult” weight. Although, I wouldn’t lay on it for too long. - You can store items under the small gaps below the bed frame. Cons: - Cheaply made and came with many blemishes. There were several scuff marks; they weren’t big or that noticeable, but they were there. There was a crack in one of the spindles of the headboard. The bottom of the legs weren’t painted. - Putting it together was more frustrating that I anticipated. The base boards kept coming off. Things were kind of hard to line up. Tips: - Sand the base boards before assembling. If you don’t have sandpaper, wear some gloves. I got a few splinters along the way. - You need to put in 8 “+” (Phillips) screws; the easiest way to do this and have everything as lined up as possible is to use a thumbtack to make a hole at the center of the hole. Make sure it goes through all the way. - If they base boards fall out, just don’t bother putting them back right away. They won’t stay until you put the headboard on.

Great toddler bed!
I bought two of these for my kids and set them up in the same room. The beds were very sturdy. A couple times my kids would ask my wife or I to lay with them and it could easily support my weight to sit or halfway lay on it (175 lbs). The half rail is great so they don’t roll off and the bed was just high enough to put a plastic storage tote under it. I got a lot of compliments on them - the quality is great especially for the price. Once I was done with them as my kids grew my parents asked to take them to use for some of their other smaller grandkids when they spend the night!
