Litter Box for heavy scratchers
I have searched high and low for about 2 years for a box that was practically silent when a cat scratched the sides bc my cats will scratch the walls causing a very loud noise at 3 am for 10 min straight & this one is it finally have been able to sleep through the night again ????

Great Product
As a senior pet owner, I find this particular litter box so easy to handle. It is lighter in weight than most and does not get deep stains, actually none, from cat urine. This is my second purchase since I just adopted two new rescue cats.

This is smaller that the measurements indicate
The measurements are incorrect - they take in the rolled edges around the top, which reduces the actual inside, useable area. At the sides the rolled area measures 1 3/4" and the ends measure 1 1/2" deep, therefore the usable area is narrower and shorter that the actual outside measurements. The description says the measurements are 25"L x 18.5"W x 10.5"H. But, the actual usable area should be measured on the floor of the box, as the sides slope out. So I am measuring the actual area the cats have to stand in, not at the top of the box ... 18.5"L x 12"W. As you can see, if you have a large, tall 21lb cat (not fat, just big), he will not like it. That said - the box is well made. The plastic is thick and will stand up to many years of use. The surface is very smooth so is seems that wet litter will not stick to it. The blue color is very nice. The plastic is also semi opaque, so you will be able to easily see the litter depth and if you need to add more. But, this also means you will be able to see all of the contents, which may be helpful for you to locate all of the wet areas easily.

Been using them for years - they last a long time.
I've been using these for years. They're very hardy and easy to clean. I have multiple cats and they're easy for the cats to enter and exit. Love them!

Love it so far!
I received the litter box today and immediately set it up for kittybaby (don't judge me). I was excited to get it and try it out, and I wasn't sure if it would be high enough around the sides and front. I have a kitty who, for whatever feline reason, likes to relieve herself right up on the very edge of the box, and as high up as felinely possible. We'd been using a litter box with lid, and then I had the realization that it's probably like a port-a-potty for cats, so began the search for a high sided litter box. This one caught my eye because it was really pretty and very blue. It looked spacious, sturdy, and hopefully high enough. It did not disappoint! I got to see kittybaby try it out for the first time, and she seemed to be really indifferent...which I think is a good thing. I didn't think it took too much more litter than usual to adequately fill the pan, and it was super easy to clean with a regular scoop. She had plenty of space to do her thing in there, and the sides seemed to be more than high enough for the business to stay in the box and not on the walls and floor. I was a little worried about how low that dip in the front would be and whether or not kittybaby would try to pee over the front. She probably will, but only time will tell. So far, I'm really happy with this litter box, and I'm hoping for the best going forward.

Does the job. Opening narrow.
This really helped with senior male that cannot easily squat to eliminate, nor step over high litter pan sides. This unit is large, yet should have more usable pan space. The entry/exit opening needs to be wider and the the lip lower. Also, I still need to place a wee pad outside the entry/exit because my old guy will sometimes orient his stream towards the low front opening.

Absolutely the best litter box I’ve had for my cats ever!
It is the best litter box I’ve ever had for my cats I like it and my cats do too Well worth the price! I do intend on purchasing more I ordered a second one since my last review

Best litter box ever!
I think this is the best cat litter box ever. It’s the second one I’ve purchased. I originally got it for my very large and elderly feline girl who had great difficulty getting in and out of regular square boxes and found regular square boxes did not give her sufficient space to turn around. This flares out in the middle so it easily accommodates large kitties and has a lower exit end which makes getting out easier for any feline who has mobility difficulties. Yet it has helpful high sides too to allow litter to mostly stay in. All my feline family members prefer to use this box over the regular square ones. I use liners in it but that’s simply my personal preference. It’s reasonably priced as well.

high enough / sturdy enough
Bought this tub for my 7mth old kittens. I think this should be suitable for cats from about 3mths. It is made from very sturdy plastic. The whole tub (i.e. including its edges and sides) doesn't bend but is stiff and sturdy when you carry it. This is important to me as I use clumping litter which is heavy. I also strap the tub onto my hip with one hand as I navigate various doors with the other hand. Again, the edges don't bend and hence the tub does not slip. You might find this pedantic but I have some other high sided (and cheaper) tubs made of very thin plastic which bend this way and that as you transport them and perch them on the bin, which is very inconvenient. As the other reviewer said, nothing comes out of the sides and the surface is large enough to find the 'right spot'. This will last from kitten-hood to cat-dulthood. (wish I had known about the science of cat litter trays BEFORE I bought 5 cheap ones from Britain's favourite supermarket.....) I shall buy another one. Definitely recommended.

Best tray my cats have used
The cats never get any mess over the sides, and they prefer it to a hooded one as they like to stand up tall when they go (they sometimes put their front paws on the back edge to stand while they go). I also find it easier than having to muck about opening a hooded tray to empty it, and they have lots of nooks and crannies to get dirt and dust in. The smooth design of this is so much cleaner. It's so funny because it looks like a baby bath! :-D After trying many types of litter and liners I've now come up with the perfect ones for me and my cats - I put a thick newspaper in the bottom (the whole newspaper, opened out for a tabloid) and just the cheap wood pellet litter. This is after trying every type of fancy litter there is. The newspaper soaks up the wee so you don't get clumps of litter stuck to the bottom of the tray. Empty the whole lot into a bin bag once a day and the most you need to clean it is a quick wipe with an antibacterial wipe.

Won't stop cats kicking litter out of the front!
Not a perfect solution to the problem of the cats kicking their litter out of the tray since there is a big dip at the front to make it easier for the cats to get in and out. I suspect my cats would happily climb over the lip if it didn't have the dip and that might make it just about ideal for our cats. Admittedly they don't tip litter out of the sides any more, so that is an improvement. It is easy to clean, sturdy and so easy to move about without the plastic cracking and breaking (as so often happens with cheaper cat litter trays). I don't mind the look or size as long as it did the job completely. If it kept the litter from going out of the front it would get the full 5 stars.

YES this really is the ULTIMATE litter box...Having to now confine my boys (3) to the home during the night I got sick of not only providing more than one litter box, but Albert completely missed the tray every time, ending up with a huge puddle in the downstairs toilet EVERYTIME. SO clearing that up with the attendant litter scattered near and far, I had to find a box big enough that ALL 3 could use, and not be put off by the other cats deposits. This absolutely fixed the problem. High sides so no matter how they try the litter is contained and there is plenty of room for all. Yes its the size of a baby bath, it takes half a bag of clumping litter, BUT and that's a BIG BUT, this is the best thing if you have a multi cat household. We have it in the downstairs toilet, leaving the door open at night...PROBLEM SOLVED.

Good litter tray for life
Excellent! When I saw this design I brought two. One upstairs in the wet-room and one spare downstairs. Yes they are on the large side but that is why they work for my cats. Everything is now done in the tray, as opposed to a poo being done on the kitchen floor when my cat had a 46cm standard tray with a lip. My cat Lady Ziggy needs to try and learn to do her business as the back of the tray, not at the front. Because she has a tendency to jump out of the tray over the side (so sometimes it capsizes!) because she has done her business in the entrance way. But that is her 'style 'anyway. She looked amazed when it arrived(!) but she loves it as much as I do, and she is happy with it :-)
