Quality sharp easy to use.

Built very strong from quality parts and the blades are very very sharp. Easy to use and disassemble for cleaning. It works great tenderizing meat and the jerky slicer cuts perfect slices for the dehydrator. I tried an experiment to see just how good the tenderizer worked. I cut the meat with the grain Instead of across the grain and then run the meat through the tenderizer and it came out very tender.

Only used once so far to tenderize. It worked well but cleaning it sucks.

The last tenderizer/jerky slicer you'll ever need to buy.

This is an excellent tenderizer attachment for the LEM grinder to tenderize meats or slice jerky. It's well made with a 2 piece heavy duty cast housing supporting the blades/tines. Cleans easily, although the blades/tines are a little tough to get between. Fit's perfectly on my #5 LEM grinder as well as the larger sizes. Cubes the meat as fast as you can drop it in. I run venison through it 3 to 4 times rotating the cut direction as I go. Other meats require less passes. The cubed venison is off the chain tender! I've borrowed one of these several times and decided it was time to purchase my own. The loaner has been well used for several years processing a lot of meats without any issues. Very reliable product that will last years if you already own a Big-Bite LEM grinder. This will not fit anything else I know of.

I wish the jerky slicer would slice the jerky completely apart and I didn't have to pull it apart afterwards

Wonderful unit

This cutter works amazing, could not feed it fast enough. While the jerky pieces come out 1" x 1/4" I'm ok with that. They are uniformed and all look the same. Should make drying them easier. No more checking skinny piece and fatter pieces over and over again. Clean up is a pain just like others have said. While you're not suppose to use a dish washer on the blades, I did. The blades show no sign of discoloring or rust. I dried them as soon as the wash was done and sprayed with silicon. I highly recommend this unit. I'm only giving 4 stars because of price, should have been stainless steel blades and dishwasher safe.

Easy to use, nice results

We used this and were impressed by the results. Just "dropping" the meat into the inlet, they fall right through, hardly slowing down at all. Then rotate 90 degrees, drop again and done. As a side note, make sure the "finger" guides are in place between the rollers. If not there, the meat will rap around the rollers--and you will have extra "fun" cleaning them off.

It works!

Was skeptical that this item would work the way it said it would, but now that we have used it I can honestly say that my wife and I are very happy to have gotten this. We are avid outdoor people and we love to hunt and fish. Having this type of equipment when processing meat makes it that much easier. We process our own meat. We know what we are getting once it is all cut up and processed.

Quality product, will last a long time and does the job it was intended for.

This is a great accessory to the grinder. Works perfect for goose breasts for jerky slicing them into perfect sized slices as fast as you can feed them. Did a perfect job on Tenderized some pork chops for schnitzel. This is a quality piece of equipment, similar to what you would expect to find in a commercial butcher shop. It is easy to take apart and assemble. I purchased some appropriate sized brushes and cleans up easily. Recommend you consider wearing protective glove when cleaning or even handling the jerky slicer as it is very sharp
