Defective

I have had this less than a month. I used the vacuum once after fully charging, but when I went to use it again it would not turn on. I tried charging again, but the vacuum still would not turn on. I am not sure if it is the switch or the battery that is bad, but I have sent a message and request to Dirt Devil, asking for it to be replaced. Will follow up with their reply. UPDATE! It was user error. I realized I had the switch in the on position when charging, so it never really charged. Now it is fully charged and working as needed.

Reliable vacuum

I use this vacuum to spot clean. To pick up small, dry spills on the kitchen floor. Around my chair where I sit and tend to drop things. It cleans very well, good suction power. I have a Dirt Devil that I use in my car. I’ve had it for years and it still works well. That is why I bought the same brand for inside my house. Not disappointed.

Relatively weak suction. But great to get crumbs of my daughters highchair seat. Performance on par with price.

My 2nd one

I have had this model for years. Love it. It's great for sucking up insects that come out of the woodwork. Doesn't leave splat stains on the windows. And then I can release them into the wild. The new model which I've had for almost a month is still sucking great on the first charge. Seems much longer than the old one, but it's only a baby. The only detectable difference is that the new filter snaps into place and won't accidentally fall out. BTW I still use the old one and it has the original cloth filter! You just have to empty them and clean 'em up regularly.

Kinda Cheap

Was really excited to get this vacuum so I could use it in my car and hard to reach places the regular vacuum can’t. It’s ok but it’s made really cheap. The power button is so hard to slide up to turn on, the extender part never stays clicked in and falls all the time, and the suction power isn’t the best. All in all, it’s a vacuum, it’s ok, but definitely worth spending a few more bucks for a better one.

Great little vacuum for small areas.

I needed a small vacuum for the area around my coffee table where small crumbs tend to collect in hard to get to areas. I use this vacuum and the suction power is good enough to handle small spaces like this. The charge lasts a long time too. I find it so handy to use this rather than having to drag out my heavy dyson vacuum.

Works great when you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I noticed that some of the reviewers were giving poor reviews for the suction power. What is likely happening is that the plastic/paper filter is clogged. This happens fast for me, and the first time I emptied it, I didn't realize there WAS a paper filter. Guess I should have read the instructions. Once I pop that paper filter out & clean it, the vac goes back to full suction power. As far as battery life, expecting one 3.7V 18650 Li-Ion cell (which is my guess as to what is in this vac) to power it for 30 minutes is just idiotic. Vacuum cleaner motors need a lot of juice to create suction. The people making these complaints should have done their research & purchased the more expensive model (which has more battery capacity). If you can deal with a 10 minute maximum amount of operation time, this is an awesome vacuum.

Je trouve qu'il faut charger la batterie souvent, surtout que cela prend quelque temps à charger. J'aurais peut-être aimé un support pour garder la balayeuse tout près, on n'a pas tous des talents de menuisier.

I bought this in error not knowing it was American plug fitting. I applied for a refund which was issued without problem as is usual with Amazon excellent service.

Manufactures will never learn

After having many little vacuums before, why they design a new type with a technological flaws. The ON/OFF switch is tough and very difficult to move from one position to the other. Needs a deeper hole in the center. The charger connector also very difficult to disconnect and the cable itself is too tiny. Will not last for too long. Would return if it wasn't the only vacuum with the narrow nozzle attached available.

Disappointing buy

Very disappointed with the suction power - it seems to blow more air out of the back than it sucks in. The crevice tool flops around all over the place and is completely useless. Should have returned the product immediately.
