Good suction

I bought this to replace an older Black and Decker dustbuster model I had that lasted me about 4 years or so before the motor started to go. This new model is pretty similar in many respects and has pretty good suction power - I think it is a little more powerful than my older one. I just keep it hanging on the charger and it is always ready to go with a full charge. This dustbuster uses a soft paper-like filter (EVF100) that you can remove and clean. The filter seems a little fragile compared to the foam filter that was in my other one, like it could easily tear if you are not careful with it. It does however fit secure and tight and looks like it does a good job. Instruction manual states it should be replaced every 6-9 months. Overall, I like this dustbuster so far and I'm glad I got it.

Good for small jobs!

Sometimes you just need a quick clean up. We use this mostly to pick up cat littler that our little darling has kicked out of the sandbox. Also, for the cardboard scraps from her scratching board. Cracker crumbs in the kitchen and I find it helpful in the car in between vacuuming with the shop vac. Charge lasts, easy to open to dump out the dirt. Dust does leak out a little when it's running but not a deal breaker.

This is a dust buster!

I have 2 cats who happen to spread litter around on the carpet near their litter boxes. I just wanted a dust buster to pick up the litter! It works fine getting small litter up and could be used for other things like crumbs on the floor, etc. it charges well. I always keep it on the charging base so it doesn’t run out. Easy to open and empty the canister. I like the size and it is easy to hold and use. Just what I needed. It is also made of plastic. Easy to wipe off if it gets dirty.

Great Little Vacuum

I really like it, but it would be better if it have a light to indicate it is charging. So therefore 4/5 rating.

It really sucks.

I bought it, it arrived new in excellent condition as described. I threw away the accessories (who uses these?) and used the included fixture to mount it to the wall, and left it there, plugged in, waiting to be used. This morning I had a fight with my toaster, which has a slide-out crumb tray, instead of a flip-open crumb tray, which meant that when my Pop-Tarts fell apart inside, the only way to get them out was to turn the toaster upside down and shake the heck out of it. Point is, crumbs everywhere. This little vacuum worked great. I could feel it trying to suck itself to the counter as I used it. Plenty of power, and easy to empty. That's all I wanted. Oh, the red color is kinda cool. 10/20/22 - Update- Don't try to put baklava in your cupholder to nibble when you're driving. You will end up with sticky crumb chaos. My new hand-held vacuum would be great for cleaning this up, except that it won't fit into the cup shape. Sure wish I had an attachment to get the job done. :(

Got this on sale, it's good.

I'm glad I have a handheld vacuum now, what's more to say about that. I could certainly do without the gale-force wind blowing out the other side; if you tilt the wrong way it blows your mess all over. I will look at the manual again and if I see this is user error I will come back and change my review.
