Tough little machine!

Used this to till up old sod . It was a little light for the task so as the pic shows, I added under the proper supervision of "Gravy", some weight to it and it cut into the existing sod much better if pulled backward. So this was an intense 4 day upper body workout between forward and back pulling and raking the debris. Cut through 1" roots with only a little jolt. I told this little machine that I was going to ask more of him than which he was capable, but we are going to run you till you break... The little machine sharply replied to kiss him where the sun don't shine and promptly chewed up 5000 sq ft of gnarly St Augustine sod . I did only run him for about 100-200 sq ft at a time just to make sure the motor didn't overheat. The extra wt was rough on his Right hip where the wheel strut meets the handlebar. The lock nut wouldn't stay tight for the last 300 sq ft but replaced it and tightened it up again and back to strong as new. Also, the gear box was NOT full. So check this and add oil BEFORE you run it. Had to top it off with another ounce at about 3000 sq ft.

It's a surprising little beast!

I bought this in 2022 to break ground for a new garden patch, and I think I would be lost without it. What a little beast!!!! It performs better than my expectations for sure! this is so much better than a gas -powered engine. You push in the safety button and pull the trigger, it starts right up! You let go of the trigger, and it shuts off. No priming a pump or pulling a cord or dealing with gas or oil. It's really lightweight, which I think I would want a little heavier to help it get into hard soil, but it's so easy to use, move, and store thanks to that lighter weight. The only thing that annoys me is that the extension cord pops off a LOT. Duct tape fixed that issue. If you are breaking into soil for the first time, make sure you keep the tines free of weeds, it really helps with the performance. I have zero regrets on this purchase.

Good product

I was worried about buying this tbh. Mixed reviews about weight and ability to cut dense soil had me concerned as I live in TN and have clay soil. However, I found that the light weight of the product allowed more maneuverability. While the bouncing was a bit intense it was made more bearable by the light weight unit. It did take some time to figure out how to make the most out of its strengths, at the end of the day I was very pleased with the outcome and my dollars spent. I have used gas tillers in the past and honestly for the close quarters job I am doing (260 sq ft, but all walled with fence or concrete), this unit was a better fit for sure. I would recommend.

Love this tiller!!!

I would have given it 5 stars but I just got it today and used it for 15 minutes. This thing is awesome. Tilled the old garden up in minutes!!! Wish it was cordless.

Great tiller - especially for the price!

This tiller has all the power you’ll need. It’s EASY to assemble the handle out of the box and is fairly lightweight. Would recommend.

Not Suitable for Australia

If you are considering to use this machine in Australia, it’s not right machine for you. Even if you are buying for different country other than USA to use check if it’s suit there. Check Plug, voltages also amp as well. Bought it for use in Australia, unfortunately couldn’t use and had to return it.
