Lots of space

I like the color and all the compartments it has to offer , u can carry anytime u need in this bag one thing I didn't like was one of the zipper s got stuck on one of the compartments but is was an easy fix nice bag.

Zipper Woes!

I agree with some other reviewers regarding the zipper. First of all, it is deep set rather than being at the top of the bag, which makes it awkward to use. Secondly, it often sticks and is hard to open and close without grabbing the bag by the top and carefully pulling the zipper open or closed, and who has time for that? I am a sewer and I think I'm going to remove the zipper and install a magnet closure under the casing. I think it will work better then. Besides the zipper problem, I really love the bag. Laurel Burch's artwork is stunning. This is my third bag with her animals on it and the first one with horses. The size is perfect for me and the handle is just the right length for a shoulder bag. The zipper is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. The bag was delivered on time and the packaging was fine. The price was the best I've seen; thanks Amazon!

Young at heart

I have handbags that are much more expensive, but my Laurel Burch bags are the most fun to carry, partially because of people’s reactions to them, like recently in a waiting room a lady sitting across from me kept commenting on how unique it was. I told her the designer’s name and that I got it on Amazon. Before she left she took pictures of it. They’re uncomplicated, sturdy bags without all the pockets and dividers I once looked for. I use the small LB zippered bags to keep my essentials organized. They’re all fun and young at heart, whatever your age.

A well-made bag that sits firmly on its base

A very nice bag that I bought for my Aunt who is (alas) in a nursing home. The zipper moves smoothly and with very little effort, it's well made of stiff canvas, nicely lined with white fabric, sits firmly on its base, and has a stiff removable board (covered in black fabric) that helps to keep the bottom flat and the bag in an upright position. The zipper pocket is a little small, but it's quite adequate. Overall, it will be a good, useful, and cheerful accessory for the wire basket that's mounted on my Aunt's walker. I should add that my Aunt has always been a fashionable lady, so by buying it for a nursing home context doesn't at all suggest that this is the only appropriate use.

Over The Moon Happy

Absolutely beautiful! I have zero problems with the zipper so whatever problems other reviewers had with the zipper must have been resolved by the company, and not only does the zipper work well it appears to be a high-quality, heavy gauge plastic. My last Laurel Burch bag was a cat bag with hand painted balls on the strap. This has a nice wood placket with the horse design painted on it. Love the attention to detail. It's roomy enough for my wallet/checkbook case, my make-up bag, a bag I keep offs&ends in, a large change purse, a cigarette case and a brown bag lunch. It's pretty roomy lol. I highly recommend this bag, and as it's available in different prints there's one for everyone!
