Keeps me warm but

I have this for apartment living since the size is just right the only thing is it only works from 80 to max. And it works on low but from 75 to 60 it shuts off after 4 min which is frustrating, my living room isn't that big so it can heat up pretty quick on 80 and even quicker in the small bed room but if I want a nice 65 degrees fat chance om that. This is a replacement from the first one I bought which had the same problem it won't stay on below 80 degrees. Also the heat only comes out through the middle of the device not the entire body so just be aware that the heat is localized. In a pinch it works fine on cold mornings to warm your legs but you'll have to put it on a stool to warm your torso if your standing up its kind of small. All in all its alright but it could use an upgrade with the heating and the 75 to 60 degree functions working in small spaces. Who knows maybe it wasn't cold enough in the room to warrant the 60 degree function.

It heat's Great! But..

This is my second one, when I opened up my first one, it wasn't in it's own factory box. Usually these heaters are in a box from the manufacturer. When shipped they are put in another box, both came in a box from Amazon. Well packaged, They look new..but it's possible they are re-manufactured. If you are not tech savvy then I'd advise you to return the heater for this part. Upon plugging it up and turning it on, it came on. The fan speed was low(even on high), the heat output was fine, but I know the sound of electric motors, especially when they are struggling. I thought first it was just a first time, temporary thing... more so because it was cold. This kept happening, and when it did happen... like the other comments said. A smell was noticeable, that smell occurs because the heater it's self is overheating. Not enough air is going through the heating element, it does have overheat protection. When I kept noticing the smell, I turned the heater off, turned it upside down. Sprayed a little Wd-40 at the base of the fan motor. Hit the switch and you'll see the spinning parts move, the silver ones (through the vents). This should have been done at the factory (proper lubrication) After doing this a few times, I turned the heater right side up. The Fans speed was much improved, the smell went away on it's own.. didn't have to dissemble anything. Another issue was the OSC, it was like it was frozen and wouldn't rotate. I gently helped it move from left to right. After a few times, it worked on it's own.. sprayed a little more Wd in between that space on the base and the bottom of the heater and it works like a new heater. I shouldn't have had to do this, on new space heaters! A second one did the exact same thing, I like the heat they put out and they do heat up that living room on a cold day. This was a easier solution than going through return process. It's your choice, but if you don't feel comfortable doing it... you should it return it. This is something that should be brought to Lasko's attention..

I have bought 3!

I love this space heater! I have bout 3 so far My favorite feature is the remote. Its nice to lay in bed in the winter and turn it on so the warm is nice and warm when you get up. I also use mine in the bathroom. 20 minutes and the room is nice an toasty!!

The heater doesn't work properly!

I already have pictures in my photos, but it won't let me get to them, so I can use them! I like my new Lazlo heater, only the controls on the top of the heater won't let me adjust them. It doesn't let me set set the controls where I want them, it has to do it. I can't set the temperature when I have it on high or low, it sets itself. I don't set the timer & I try to adjust it myself, but it goes where it wants too. And by not setting the temperature, it gets too hot on high & when I switch to low, the right side blows out cold air & the left side, hot air. Then I have to put it back on high till it's warms back up, then switch back to low. I am constantly having to do this. It is very frustrating. Tried to use the remote, but that's even worse. Always wanted a heater with a remote, so I could adjust it without getting up every time. Very disapointed! Plus, this not letting me used my own photo's. It wants control over my photo's & won't let me go to my images & get the ones I already put in there to get.

Small and does the job

I love my little heater. It warms up my room and I really enjoy the timer setting on it. It definitely got me through the winter out here in the high desert. Would definitely recommend.

Christmas gift for mom

I bought this heater for my mom. She had her home weatherized a few years ago and for some reason they remover all her gas heating without replacing it. So, she has been without any type of heat during the winters. I decided to buy this for her to keep her from using her gas stove to keep warm. She loves it and said that it works very well. She loves that it is light enough to move from room to room and can control the temp.

Great ???? buy

I have no complaints. When my alarm goes off, I use my remote to start heat up. Some noise but it doesn't bother me at all. I think its quiet enough. Heating up very powerful and about 15-20 minutes, my bed room is nice and warm. I can get up no problem in very cold winter mornings. I will recommend this to anyone ????

Does not work

The heater does not turn on so I tried to return following the return instructions - went to DHL Express and they said I need to go to the post office. Went to the post office and they said I need to pay 76 pounds to return. This is ridiculous.

Would not purchase again solely based on...

The heater does as intended...the heat output is significant, which I appreciate. The issue I have is with the high and low settings for the fan. When on high, you can set the temp to whatever you wish (60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and max degrees) but when you change it to low, it ONLY allows it to be on max. Not a deal breaker but just thought others would want to know that before purchasing.
