Mosquito Downsizing
I was a little disappointed that the bulb did not last the season, but then, it is on 24/7 to break the breeding cycle. The replacements when you order them on Amazon, arrive within a couple of days. BUT, the device really does take care of most of the mosquitos, and we have also noticed a significant drop in the insects we have to clean out of our pool. It has, and I don't think I am exaggerating, dropped around 90 percent. I don't have to clean it everyday for the bugs, and it seems that the only ones that do get in, do it during the day. A bee, a Japanese beetle, a dragon fly here and there, and a locust once in a while. The fact that we can swim now during the day now without getting buzzed or bitten is a HUGE plus. Instead of being covered with bites, we may get one or two if we are out in the yard for a long period, usually when mowing the lawn or trimming the hedges.

The bulb worked well for a while, but didn't last very long. I don't know the life expectancy of those bulbs, but I hoped it would last through the summer, and it only lasted a couple of months.

The zapper this is for is discontinued. The bulb is kinda pricey almost as much as the Zapper cost originally. But what choice you have. bulb usually last 6-10 month constantly on.

Works like it should. Operating about 7 hours a day during non-winter weather, the original lasted 4 years!

bug zapper
received this item for my bug zapper and i received (2) lights and and as for as i can tell it works just fine and the price was ok and so was the payment of item . this was received from amazon.

This bulb is also a replacement for the flowtron BF 200 bulb which isn’t made anymore. Very difficult to find that pin configuration.

Replacement bulbs work fine. The flotron itself not so much. Doesn't do much good getting rid of mosquitos.
