Lasted 6 years with heavy use

I absolutely loved this hammock. It's truly all natural. There is no chemical smell, and the feeling of the hammock is very relaxing. I used it every day for over 6 years. I'm 220lbs and 6'2". I just replaced it today with the same exact version I bought 6 years ago. Thank you for this product!

This would be a five star review if the hammock lasted longer than a few months of daily use. I am about to purchase this item for a third time. The first two lasted for about three months each before individual cords started snapping. Otherwise, this hammock is cozy, comfortable, healthy, and free of chemicals. It's a wonderful hammock to have!

Very comfortable resting place

I used this as a replacement hammock for my Costco frame (110" between hooks). Pay attention to the minimum hanging distance. You can do a shorter distance than what they recommend but it has to be higher off the ground or it will sink too much when you get in. It's very comfortable though and looks nice. Very easy to pull off the hooks and jam in a cabinet for later use. Haven't had it long enough to speak about it's durability. It's not very thick in my opinion but I think that's the norm. I could see it only lasting a year of it's left outside all the time. But might be longer.

Giving this five stars because it was a great hammock. HOWEVER, if you are planning to use it as an alternative to a standard mattress, maybe think twice. I read online all about how hammocks are the best new thing for your back health and brain health (because you get deeper sleep). I returned after one night of sleeping in it, because it was the worst night's sleep I've ever gotten. Different part of my body lost circulation throughout the night, my back ached, my legs ached, my neck ached. I needed help getting out of it the next morning! (If I had the space, though, I would have kept it as a recreational hammock.) In summary: great hammock, horrible bed.

Great Quality!

This is a beautiful hammock! And it's so comfortable! When we first received it, it was a little bit of a challenge getting on our steel frame, but it has slowly stretched out over time... We made the mistake of leaving it out for about a week in direct sunlight so there is a slight fade in color, but not much. I'm disappointed that winter has arrived in Montana because we had to put it away... Can't wait until spring/summer! I think this is going to hold up just fine. Buy it already!!!

Very comfortable, well-made hammock

This hammock is very comfortable, well made, and is balanced well. I have used other types of hammocks in the past, and had no clue just how comfortable a hammock could be until I had laid in this one. It seems to just guide you on how to properly lay in a hammock so that you are not suddenly lying in a taco. I have napped in this and really enjoyed it. I also love to sit in it to study.

Good 1 person hammock

This was a solid purchase. I hung it from 2 porch posts that were 10 feet apart. I actually added some chain to make it hang down more, and not so tight between the posts. The material feels very sturdy and is also soft enough to still be comfortable and not scratchy. I could easily fall asleep in this thing. It does NOT comfortably fit 2 people. My husband and I tried multiple ways of laying to make us both fit, and it just wasn't happening, but it's a great 1 person hammock.

Review for bed alternative

Love my hammock! It’s my full time bed as I have struggled with sore points on my hips and getting a bad back in conventional beds for years. Took a week to get the hang just right for me after tweaking it every night and now it’s just bliss. I have taken a photo of my set up as I really struggled getting ideas for sleeping indoors full time in a hammock. I also have a 12tog single duvet I suspend underneath the hammock using a clew system that prevents a cold bum. The duvet I use on top is a 7.5 tog which I also tuck under my head as a neck support. After a few nights I found my hips were turning to the side a lot so I got a firm pillow and use this between my legs to keep them perpendicular. Hope that helps someone!

Not durable

Very comfortable, and stretched as expected after about a week of using it every day. However, I have had it for under two months, and the cords have already begun to snap (please see pictures). This started a couple days ago. Once the first snapped, others followed quickly. The risk of the remaining snapping in quick succession is high, so I stopped using it today. I did use it every day since delivery, but less than two months of use is really poor. I'd say I'm pretty average as far as adult weight goes, and I'm careful when getting into it as to not strain it unecessarily. I was hoping this would be THE hammock for me, especially since I intended to alternate using it with my other hammock for sleeping in at night. I do have another hammock that I've used for sleeping, and it's also made of cotton. It shows no signs of wear and tear even though I slept in it every night from early november 2020 to september 2021, so I know the durability expectation is not unrealistic. Sad to say I cannot recommend this product.

Seriously awesome

It feels like Im in a cocoon. There is no shortage of fabric so you can really disappear into this hammock. See da pics. I is invisible. It's strong too. It can hold me and my roomate on it. It's pretty flexible, I spread out in different ways every time and I love how it adjusts to my body. It swaddles you like a baby. Oh! I LOVE how i can leave it out in the rain. It gets soaked, yes, but it dries super quick when the sun comes out and it's not even dirty. I will take it down to wash it every now and then but it's not under any trees or near dirt so I havent seen a spec of grime on it and it's been out in some rough weather let me tell you. Anyways 10/10 would buy again and recommend to anyone looking for a hammock.

Amaca resistente, comoda, di alta qualità

Questa è stata la seconda amaca che ho comprato su Amazon, la prima era composta da un misto di cotone e poliestere e non mi è piaciuta molto, in quanto il materiale cedeva ed era ruvido al tatto. Per questo motivo, ho venduto la prima amaca, che non mi ha soddisfatto per niente, ed ho cercato un prodotto che fosse realizzato in puro cotone. Alla fine, ho trovato questa amaca in puro cotone biologico e, sebbene ci sia una bella differenza di prezzo con amache simili, devo dire che vale tutti i soldi spesi in più. È robusta e resistente, anche se morbida al tatto, ed è davvero ben fatta. Anche la confezione è carina, arriva arrotolata, come da foto del prodotto, l'unica pecca è che non ha una sacca da trasporto, ma questo credo non sia un grosso difetto. Da quando l'ho comprata, mi faccio dei sonnellini stupendi sul terrazzo, ma la uso anche per leggere o semplicemente per rilassarmi al termine di una pesante giornata di lavoro. La consiglio vivamente!
