Great clock!
I've had one of these clocks for years, at least 15 years, never an issue with it, accurate all the time, automatically changes to/from daylight savings time, etc. Unfortunately during a renovation project it fell of the wall, the glass shattered and some of the plastic broke, so I ordered a new one to replace it. The new one seems even better now since it has a 2nd battery compartment. (My original did not.) The new one now hangs on the wall near the entry. My original one still works and keeps accurate time so I put it out on the lanai. I know the Florida heat/humidity will probably get to it eventually, but until then I now have two great clocks that I never have to set!

Lasts ten years
I just bought this to replace my previous one. On that one, the second hand broke and quit working after about 10 years. It was still keeping time, but the second hand wouldn’t move. I LOVE not having to set the clock for Daylight Saving Time— it does it itself!

One of my favorite purchases
Nice size. Big Numbers and easy to read from a distance. Always accurate even with the time changes. Takes AA batteries so you don't have to change often.

Functional & Easily Read
It's large, easily seen, and read. Serves its purpose to help me gauge how long I've been doing outside activities. Have had it since May 2021 in my garage, where the temperature swings 30-90 deg F throughout the year. It keeps time well enough, but it has never successfully been set by or synced with the radio signal. Consequentially, I just let it be one (1) hour off between November and March during standard time. It's been about eight (8) months since replacing the batteries and manually resetting the clock. Now, it's slow by about 8 minutes.

Fantastic clock, works very well!
Our previous wall clock always had issues with the battery and would not work well so much so that for the last year or so it was simply a show piece on the wall that never showed the right time. I am so glad I replaced it with this La Crosse atomic clock. Setup was easy. The feature where it takes extra batteries is really. It took about 10 minutes for it to sync with the atomic clock and it set itself up. We have had it for several weeks now and it has been awesome. Clear to read and keeps accurate time!

simple and functional
probably my favorite atomic clock of the Lacrosse line. it's a good size but not too big and easy to read. a bit heavier than some of their other atomic models so I suggest using a good clock mount or screw. for anyone who might have trouble picking up a signal from my experience this process goes a lot faster if you place these clocks in front of a window. usually takes about 5 minutes or less to get the signal.

Initial hiccup, works great, worth it
I've used this clock for 10 months, it was my first atomic clock. When I first got it and put in the battery it took some time before receiving signal and set the time correctly - Be patient, you may need to take it outside to receive initial signal, but recommend waiting at least few hours first. Clock reset itself few times in few hours before working correctly. I was happy, however I remembered that within 1-2 week the clock will "spaz" and reset once a while, which I didn't mind except it was few min off - It was really annoying. First few times I think I manually reset, which would correct the time. After a week or two I didn't pay much attention, and it has been keeping accurate time without any intervention. Clock itself is made of plastic but feels sturdy & durable. Faces & numbers are large enough to see clearly, it hangs on the wall above TV in my livingroom. If I recall it does have extra battery compartment, uses 1AA (+1AA for extra if you wish). I've noticed that quartz based clocks have ticks and even some fancy/advanced clocks are not right on the each second spot/position as they tick away, which leads me be believe it's nature of clock design & function. Compared to cheap wall clock I got from walmart/target, it's silent and don't hear any ticking, you might hear ticking sound in quiet room at night - honestly I don't hear any clock ticking when it's silent. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and considering buying more for my rooms. Downside is that it may not work perfectly right away, and may need to reset few times and/or just need to wait a while before it "settles" in.

Love the display
First "atomic" clock I purchased. Love the display, great construction. But I'm in Toronto, second floor window in a brick building facing west, and I ain't getting no signal from Colorado setting this clock. Not when I got it, nor at the Time Change in the spring either. I don't mind setting it manually, but it's a bit of a disappointment. Funny to watch the hands rotate when the clock is looking for a signal, but it would be better if it could find it without my intervention. Keeps time perfectly, and I love the silent second hand sweep.

Great atomic clock
Bought this for my dad as a gift and have one of my own. Works great and given its large size, it's easy to read from a distance. The clock can take 1AA battery at the very minimum or 3AA batteries. If you put 3 AA's in, the batteries will last for 3 years. The clock will update itself all on its own so the time is always accurate. It's best if the clock is placed on an outside wall but mine isn't and it still updates. The only thing I wish this clock would have is the date or at least a visual indicator of whether it has updated its time today or not. I would love a little indicator for that. These are small gripes with what is otherwise a great product. 5 stars. Would buy again.

I like the clock and some FYI about atomic synchronization
Great clock. It works well and maintains a proper atomic time synchronization. Anyone who has never owned an atomic clock or wristwatch before should know that these devices usually sync best between midnight and 5 AM Eastern time due to atmospheric conditions and the distance from the atomic broadcast signal (which is located in Fort Collins, Colorado). These devices are usually programmed to try and receive a signal at that time. I have owned a few different atomic synchronized timepieces, currently including my G-Shock watch and this clock and they receive the signal fine near Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which is quite a far distance from Colorado.

Does what it says. : )
My first introduction to an Atomic Clock and it was amusing to see the hands start off on their rotation and then remain stationary at 12:00. Instructions state it may take up to 5 days to sync with Fort Collins Colorado and being in Toronto, Ontario in all bricked apartment building with no clear sight line to the west I had my doubts, but to my surprise and even switching over daylight savings the clock was perfectly synced over night! Overall looks to be a very nice wall clock, clean lines, nice size and very quiet, unlike the clock it replaced with the ticking second hand. Also an extra battery compartment for 2 more AA to keep it running hand free for at least 3 years.
