Nice item but size might not be right for your king bed

I ordered this for my new king bed. I’m used to having bedspreads that cover two sets of pillows and go to the floor on both sides and the bottom. On our king bed, it only went to the floor on the bottom, but it did not cover the pillows and it didn’t come close to covering the side of the bed. I did move it downstairs to my queen bed, which required a new bedspread. It looks absolutely great on the queen. So if you’re buying this for a king, and are expecting it to go to the floor on all three sides and cover pillows, it’s not gonna happen. But it looks great on my queen bed. As for quality, it’s very heavy and very well-made. It does shed a little bit so I recommend maybe throwing it in the dryer on fluff to get some of the fuzz off of it once you buy it.

This is fairly substantial, almost feels like a weighted blanket.

I bought this used from the warehouse store. It arrived in the original box, in the original packaging. It looks like it was returned because it had a 1/4" hole in the blanket. Not really a big deal. I saw that the normal retail price was over $100, and I sure wouldn't have given it a second look if I hadn't seen it in used. Honestly, this is like a giant towel. Super thin backing material, cute stitched in pattern that sheds like mad in the dryer. (but only for the first few washes, apparently) Followed the washing instructions, removed about one llama's worth of lint from the trap in the dryer when it was finished drying. This thing is very big, it dwarfs my queen comforter on all sides. The extra material on the sides of the bed pulls the bedding down snugly against you. Should be interesting to try it without the comforter when it warms up a little more.

Nice but beware of shedding issues!

I owned a similar bedspread so I decided to replace it because it was getting worn out. I purchased this bedspread and immediately noticed that it sheds a lot! It is comfortable and lightweight but the shedding is very noticeable and annoying. I washed and dried it but had to clean my lint filter numerous times during the drying process. Other than that issue, the size and weight of the bedspread are good.

Better Trends Chenille Bedspread

This lovely chenille bedspread brings me find childhood memories. This bedspread is thin, but it's warm and hugs your body to sleep in layers and comfort. Who needs a weighted specialty blanket ?? This is all you need. The yellow is not as bright as I was expecting, but more of a pale lemon yellow. I still love it, it is very well made and big for my king size bed. Great purchase#????

Worst bedspread ever

These are two flaws already and I only received it in 3rd June 2021. A hole and a discolouration. Also no way to ever get rid of the lint. It goes everywhere

Fits a king size bed perfectly!

I have to say - I love this bedspread! It fits the bed perfectly - I love to make a bed the "old fashioned" way, with the pillows tucked beneath the bedspread. We have a low-profile bed, and this bedspread touches the floor all around, with room to spare at the foot of the bed. It is heavy without being too warm, just right in the summer when the breeze comes through the windows. In winter, we will need to use another blanket or duvet underneath. I love the crisp white chenille, it reminds me of my grandparents home, with the old chenille bedspreads. 5/5 would recommend.

Beautiful colour

I love my new bedspread, and I especially love the colour. Most chenille bedspreads seem to be offered in white or cream, so I was thrilled to find this one in sage colour. I noticed that in the reviews, someone suggested washing/drying it twice before using it, in order to cut down on the loose tufts that go flying every time you make your bed. And it worked!! There are still bits that come loose, but nothing like the 'snow' that happens when you first take it out of the package! LOL If you buy this bedspread and follow the double washing/drying process, make sure to clean your dryer filter half-way through the drying cycle. It will be FULL!

Beautiful

This bed spread is absolutely stunning! The colour is true as in the picture. And it’s oversized which I love as I have a really high four post bed. There was some shedding when I first washed it but that’s to be expected. I had a bed spread like this when I was a child and it really takes me back.
