light weight

This is a good bedspread for warmer weather. I like the chenille bedspreads because I feel it adds texture to the decor. This one isn't fancy or busy. I would choose a thicker spread in colder weather. I bought the white one and I do have to use white or very light colored bedsheets underneath. If you have dark or patterned bedsheets, it may show through.

chenille bedspread - texture light but warm

I have to say, I had a great experience with this company - I purchased a twin blue chenille bedspread and sham for my son that we really love and a blush king size bedspread and shams for myself. The king size started to show some wear but after almost 2 years, this company went above and beyond to help me. They felt bad for whatever happened to this bedspread, and as I said, I bought my sons's the same time, and it is fine, they sent me a replacement - I'm not saying wait too long, but with life and such, I reached out once before and maybe I had wrong info and didn't hear back but I reached out yesterday and today I am getting a new bedspread overnight and am very appreciative and thankful as that is above and beyond after such time. But they are an upstanding company, customer service couldn't be any nicer. Try one or more of these for yourself, I grew up with my mom always buying chenille bedspreads and was so happy to find this on Amazon - many many stars************

Nice, large, but thinner than portrayed

This is a nice, generously sized bedspread however it is MUCH thinner than portrayed in the Beatrice advertisement photos. It looks fluffy in those photos. It is not a fluffy bedspread and imo will require an additional blanket if used in winter. Despite that, it is subtlety elegant, pretty good quality and washed up nicely. The shams are of equally good quality. Some other comments complained of shedding. I observed quite a bit of lint in the lint trap (similar to a load of fluffy towels) however no significant shedding or fuzz otherwise. Overall pretty happy with the purchase. I paid $70 for a queen size, which seems like a pretty fair price for a set, however, if you want the shams, they are not included and are at an additional cost of about $15 each. I have a pillow top mattress, low profile box spring and a frame with rollers (total height of about 26 inches). This bedspread was plenty large and long enough, almost a bit too long actually, but I suppose this is so that it can be tucked in over the pillows, old school style.

Just right for me!

I bought the Cream color and it's really pretty. Most people will, probably, want to know that the length is based on using the top to fold over a pillow(s). It is far too long for anything other than this type of bed making. I like that and I thought others might want to know . Thanks!

Thinner than expected

The size was great for my tall bed. Looks nice but it’s so thin I could see my sheets through it. It’s also not soft even after washing. Looks nice but not comfy to sleep with. It looks much thicker in the pictures. It’s more like a sheet. Mine is ivory.

Perfect fit

I have always ordered my chenille bedspreads from Wayfair and paid upwards of $100. This bedspread in king size was $57. I love it ! I ran it through a rinse cycle with fabric softener. Dried it on a low temp. It really fluffed up and hangs on each side of the bed almost to the floor. I turned it with the stripes horizontal which gave it a little more length on the sides. This is very comfortable and I need to order another. Love the price and the value.

Defective white king size

Chenille is made of of stripes but with obvious defects. Extremely warm but lightweight enough to please husband so I decided to keep.

Good Size Coverage

Ordered the blue, a very soft colour more spa blue, green/blue than a blue. A bit on the thin side. Overall happy with purchase.

Very happy with this bedspread. I now have 2 Beatrice bedspreads. Very soft & cozy.Very happy with both. Also have purchased as gifts for family. They love them as well. Purchased all at a reasonable price.

Way to big

Liked the bedspread but it was way to big even though my bed is a king and also the colour was wrong to light of a beige

Happy with the product

Colour was spot on, it washed up well(smelled from plastic packaging)I did not put it in the dryer, I hung it to line dry. affordable. Wish it came in more colours! There was a label that warned about lint and fibres. Nothing outrageous or unusual given the type of bedspread it is. I’d order another.
