SO THIS FILL VALVE FIT MY 20 YEAR OLD ONE PIECE SAN RAPHAEL TOILET PERFECTLY. INSTALLATION CAN BE DONE BY ANY DYI........BUT THE FILL VALVE INSTALLATION CAN NOT BE COMPLETED WITHOUT A NOT INCLUDED RUBBER HOSE TO ROUTE THE INCOMING WATER INTO THE TANK. MAYBE KOHLER THINKS YOU CAN USE THE OLD HOSE, BUT MY 20 YEAR FILL VALVE DID NOT USE THIS PART. COULDN'T COMPLETED INSTALLATION UNTIL AMAZON DELIVERED $1.87 PART THE NEXT DAY. KOHLER NEEDS TO INCLUDE FILL HOSE AND RAISE THE PRICE 2 BUCKS IF THEY MUST. KOHLER TAKE NOTE!!

Good product with missing parts
It is an original part and fits perfectly a KOHLER K-3386-0 Rialto toilet. Built with quality materials, but it does not include two two important pieces: a locknut, and a refill tube.

Be advised, this valve does not have a functioning refill port
If your toilet needs a refill port this is not the valve for you. i bought this one (only to find out after my return period) that there is no flow from the port. this resulted in my bowl not having the proper amount of water in it. From Fluidmaster: There are some 747 versions with the refill port sealed (they usually come with a blue cap) and you won't be able to open the refill port to get water through it, if you want to get water through the refill tube I suggest to contact Kohler and ask them if they can exchange those valves and send you those with the refill port open which by the way is the same model, usually the valve with the open tube comes with a white cap on top. hope this info helps you.

Kohler Fill Valve - at least it works
The Fill Valve functions as advertised. That's all it does. It is a cheaply made, overpriced piece of plastic. It is too noisy. The old fill valve it replaced was much quieter. Also there were no installation instructions. For a novice like me this was unacceptable. It also would be helpful if the package included a new gasket that fits between the water source and the fill valve. This is an inexpensive, critical piece that prevents leaks. I guess they expect you to use to use the old one. Needed another trip to Home Depot. I am surprised that other manufactures like Fluidmaster, do not step in and make a better product and price it below this $71 Kohler offering.

Easy Swap
My old unit was not shutting off correctly and spit water out of the top, sometimes seeping under the lid. I didn't need or want to replace the brass line, but this was the only way to buy the oem replacement. Since I only replaced the plastic part, it took about a minute. New one works great, no more water shooting out of the top as it fills from the bottom, much quieter and fills just right. Guess I'll keep the brass tube around in case that ever needs replacing.

Yes, it's pricey, but you may not have an alternative!
A very expensive operating component compared to a conventional toilet flush valve. But, those don't work in Kohler's pricey Rialto series, so... Installation is easy, if you've changed Flush values before. To its credit, fewer connections are required for the Kohler, so the procedure is quicker.

Excellent easy to install fill valve
I have a Koehler San Raphael one piece toilet that is 5 years old and it started spraying water from the top of the fill valve after flushing. A small amount water would spray through the side of the lid onto the floor. I ordered the new fill valve and replaced the old one. I left the old brass tube and just replaced the valve itself in less than 2 minutes as it just twists off and then back on. The new valve works perfectly. A very cheap, quick and easy repair without having to call a plumber. Highly recommended if you have a San Raphael with a leaky fill valve.

Looks like they have changed the product
It's the second time I purchased it. It used to have a blue connector between the plastic part and the copper part, like in the picture. All I needed to do in the past was to unhook the blue connector from the copper part and replace just the pump and reuse the original copper part in the tank. Looks like they have changed the product, it now has a white connector and it can't be detached from the copper part. The only reason I opted for this more expensive model was that I didn't need to mess with replacing the copper part.

Less expensive than buying from Kohler
Received item quickly and it works. Price was less expensive than buying from Kohler directly as there was free shipping with my Prime membership.

Right piece but does not completely replace old manufacturer's part.
Replaced the original part. Was missing a plastic white tube, and the old piece did not fit the fill valve as the base is wider than on the original part.
