Very expensive.

This is an exact replacement of my original soap dispenser that came with the water facet. The problem is that the nozzle corroded from the inside out and ate away the stem. I would have liked to have just purchased the part that had failed, instead of the whole thing, bottle, straw etc. Very expensive for something that can be eaten up by Dial Hand soap.

Looks sharp. Solid. First push delivery of soap. Ten years of trouble free service.

I just installed two more of these, adding to the four already installed in my home. The quality is what you would expect -- EXCELLENT. I have had three of these installed for ten years and a fourth installed for four years; I have never had a single problem with any of the four. The spouts are solid on all our units. In many years of use, no spouts have broken off or even become the slightest bit loose; and there has never been a metal smell in the soap. My faucets are polished chrome, and the polished chrome on these units matches perfectly and has never deteriorated the slightest. Once you have pumped to get the soap out for the first time, all subsequent uses produce soap on the first push. We do not press down on the spout; we only press down only on the main metal cylinder. It refills from the top; only fill with two measured cups and you will never overfill. Update on 2/14/15 It is now four months since I installed the last two purchased, and there has not been a single problem with them, just as the other four installed for years have never had a problem. Be wary of negative reviews that trash the industry's leading brands, (i.e., Kohler and Moen). I have no affiliation, nor have I ever had, any affiliation with Kohler. I am a retired employee from a small family business in computer peripherals. Update 05/16 Zero problems with all units. Beware of the false reviews.

So-so pump action

This unit was purchased to replace one by Kohler we had installed 15 years ago (which, of course, they don't make any more). This one was easy to install in the counter hole vacated by the one that broke. The soap reservoir is bigger than the old one, which is a plus. On the downside, the pump has a smaller "volume per squirt" than our prior edition, and a lot stiffer to push.

Excellent Quality

Does any replacement soap dispenser warrant the Kohler premium? From a functional perspective, a plastic pump is a pump. Still, a less expensive one that I purchased had chrome that appeared "cheap" next to my Kohler faucet and had to be returned. This one costs 2x more but looks right. The installation was easy and, hopefully, this one lasts as long as the one it replaced (20 years).

Great product. Simplistic, heavy and well made.

I purchased this for my kid’s bathroom to replace the mess of a countertop soap dispenser they had. I’m confident that having this new pump fixed to the counter/hanging over the sink will help to keep the area much cleaner.. less gunk and less clutter. The pump is very simplistic, pretty heavy and well made and is sure to last for years.

Crooked handle.

The handle is set crooked. It’s Koehler supposedly but I have to believe somehow it’s like B products they sold off. Everything in my house is Koehler and they are not like that. They have an outstanding replacement warranty on faucet and even this thing has a warranty. Just doesn’t seem legit. The spot is crooked but I needed it so I’m using it. Lame. Buy from Koehler instead.

Purchased 2 years ago and...

I never write a review until I've used a product for a while. Two years ago I purchased this to replace my low quality corroded Home Depot soap dispenser. Here is what you need to know: It is made from high quality stainless steel, not cheap stainless steel that corrodes or discolors over time. The soap does not break down the metal as it does with other cheaper dispensers. The seals are still in new condition two years later. Works flawlessly and has a great heavy solid feel to it. If you are tired of low quality cheap dispensers as I was, this is the cure. Spend the extra money you will not regret it.

Solid dispenser and it looks great

Nice looking dispenser that works as it should, More solid than all of the cheapies out there. You get what you pay for and this is worth the couple extra dollars.

Didn't think it would get used much. But bought it because I thought it would look cool. Well. Gets used all the time. Pretty handy. Have refilled several times. Nice that it can be filled from the top. Time will tell if it's going to last but so far so good.

Lucky if it lasts more than 6 months

I have now purchased 2 of these; the dispenser looks great and feels solid, however, each lasted about 6 months and then the spout broke off. Very disappointing quality from Kohler which I thought was a good name. Will not purchase again.
