Probably better than most on the Markey but not without its flaws
Product took about 30-45 minutes to assemble. I wanted to add the stabilizer wheel but could not get the bolt off for the life of me. I work out 6 days a week and I had a man try. The bolt is stuck. I technically shouldn't need the stabilizer wheel as I have good balance, am young, and athletic, but I've had 4 falls while using the scooter in my 5 weeks of use. All of my falls have happened while trying to turn around. The scooter is not easy to maneuver in tight spaces. I've pretty much broken all the rules in the user manual. It says you shouldn't back up but that's literally impossible in my kitchen and bathroom. I have to go up and down curbs regularly as my apartment complex isn't accessible. I scoot faster than a regular walking pace. To make tight turns or turn around, I pop a wheelie on the back and rotate. It's actually been while using the scooter properly that I've fallen. The pneumatic wheels are excellent for sidewalks that are uneven. I end up needing to pump the tires with air about every 2 weeks starting the day I assembled it. The biggest design flaw is that the turning rods have a bolt at the hinge and my shoe laces will get caught. I have to stop, reach down to the ground and unhook my shoe laces, untie them and loosen, then re-tie. It's honestly better to just not have shoe laces but I prefer a good athletic shoe. I added an $8 phone and cup holder meant for a stroller and it's been a lifesaver. My knee was sore at first then again when I changed from a bulky Jones splint to fiberglass cast then again when my cast got bivalved. The soreness only lasts a day or so then my body adjusts. Therefore I haven't needed to spend money on an extra knee pad. Folding the scooter to fit in smaller cars is a huge hassle. The mechanism isn't self explanatory and it involves undoing the seat and having to remember what height you had it set at. I have to fold it for all the uber and lyft drivers then hop to my seat while they stow it in the trunk. Don't listen if you read other reviews that complain about the brakes. It clearly says how to tighten them in the instruction manual and even gives you the tool. All in all, this has been a mobility life saver, it's way better than crutches, but the iWalk 3.0 hands free crutch is the superior mobility aid for a lot of circumstances.

well worth the money
I injured my ankle in January and have been non-weight bearing. After 10 days of crutches, I couldn't take it anymore. I decided to go with the Knee Rover Jr due to the fact that I am short (5') and that it came with the all-terrain tires instead of the little plastic ones since we spend alot of time at the ballfield. I am very pleased with my purchase and am able to get around a lot easier. I have been using the scooter for 6 weeks now (and am looking at a minimum of another 4-6 weeks unless i need surgery). My only complaint is the knee cushion does get a bit uncomfortable after a while ( i purchased a pad to go over it). The basket is a great addition to put my bag or phone and i purchased a cup holder to attach. It took me and my sister around 15-20 minutes to assemble. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a good quality knee scooter.

Used this while working at a kids camp for a week! So thankful I ordered this scooter.
I sprained my foot, severely, right before I was going to work at a kids camp. I went to the doctor's and he said the only way I'd be able to do this, was with a knee scooter. He told me even with a knee scooter, I should expect to be limited with what I would be able to do. That night, four days before camp, I frantically started the search for a sturdy, reliable scooter. I stumbled across this one and started reading the reviews. I needed a scooter that would be able to go across grass, gravel, and be light enough that I would be able to lift it up several steps. I looked at dozens of scooters and read many reviews. I kept coming back to this one. With a silent prayer,(I''m 5'7", 120 lbs, with long legs) I ordered this Jr. Knee Rover, along with the "Azoob Universal Knee Walker Knee Rest Pad," and a larger metal basket (the one it came with seemed very small, according to the dimensions). This came the day before I was to leave for camp! That night, I assembled it. To my surprise, it was very easy to do. They give you all of the necessary tools needed to put it together. It seemed pretty sturdy and I hoped it wouldn't let me down. The very next day, it was put through a ringer of a test. I wheeled it through gravel, bumpy grass (lots and lots of it) and hauled it up a couple of steps. The days following, I put some serious miles on it . . .no exaggeration. All the adults at the camp were amazed that it worked so well and that I never fell behind (I am pretty athletic, and it might be a little harder for some people to go through grass and a good gait. But I think it really wouldn't be an issue, because most people are not trying to keep up with dozen's of children). The tires surprisingly kept their air. Only once did I have to add some, and it was only to one tire. It lost 4psi in four days. I was fearful that the overall abuse the scooter was taking, would lead to it's break down. Never once did I have any issues with bolts loosening, parts breaking, or it falling apart. I, and many people, were floored at how well it stood up to the test. There were some small cons. So I decided to list them so anyone looking would be aware: 1) The turn radius is not that great. However, this didn't bother me. I got really good at turning it by lifting the front up and using my leg. This only took about a day to figure out. 2) While striding, I would hit my ankle bone where the front wheel attached. There is a bolt that sticks out a good inch. However, I have very long legs, and this might not even be an issue with most folks. After several of these instances, I learned to take shorter strides. 3) The basket that it comes with is very small. This is, however, a child's scooter. So logically it makes sense to have a smaller basket on it. 4) The handle bars were a little short, and I wish they had been an inch or two longer. But once again, this is a child's scooter, so that's to be expected. 5) You will need a second padding on it. Even after I added a second padding, my shin would let me know that it was getting a little sore. But I was in a hard walking boot, on this scooter, for most of the day. This may not even be an issue if you're only on it for a couple of hours each day. I never had any serious cons. The above mentioned are slight and you easily adjust. Overall, this was a great knee scooter. I am so thankful that I ordered this! And I love the teal coloring. I honestly can't say enough about it. I am still floored at how well it took all the abuse. I would say that this literally took the ultimate test, and it passed with flying colors! There were quiet a few pictures of me using this, however, since it was a camp for foster care children, I can't post them. By law, you can't show pictures of these children's faces. We do need to guard them and make sure that they stay safe. I would recommend this, hands down! 10/10.

Strong, good looking but not effective in some ways
Braking the rear wheel does not work well. A real effort to pull the lever will result in some braking but not a lot. On a down slope it has even less effect. The steering requires effort - very stiff. Perhaps deliberately stiff for safety. Outdoors the large wheels are really good and the thing is effective on level ground - even fun. Indoors not very easy due to steering limitations and weight. The KneeRover is impressively engineered, substantial and of quality, however the design of this and similar products needs further development. For outdoor use the KneeRover will benefit young strong persons.

Great scooter for a kid with a broken foot but watch for damage tire
Out of the box one of the tires has a broken prong and will not not hold air - no option to return/report a defective part. Very frustrating as my son broke his foot and we got this for him to get around easier. My husband ended up going to a bike shop to get a replacement tube for the tire, but it’s still annoying when purchasing a item that this this expensive. The actual scooter is well made and makes it so much easier to get around (plus it’s a fun colour and he can stow his school stuff in the basket). Rated lower because of the issue with the tire - no everyone would be able to find a replacement for it quickly

Terrific Knee Rover for Lower Back Pain and Recovering from ankle surgery!
This is a terrific knee rover for people with foot/ankle issues and lower back issues. Has helped me tremendously in my recovery from surgery. Crutches were not an option given my back issues and other knee issues as well. If you have severe knee pain this is not a product for you. Otherwise, I am loving it!

Excellent warranty response.
Upon receiving the product, I noticed a manufacturing flaw in the main frame of the Knee Rover. I contacted Knee Rover and they IMMEDIATELY shipped a complete replacement unit. Bravo! Great quality overall, pneumatic tires make all the difference!
