Works Great!

Works great! The pen tester has two modes one, one that cuts of lower voltage from the reading to help prevent false-live readings, very useful! I find the VAC reading on the outlet tester to be very useful for extra diagnostics that a basic outlet tester won't provide. The GFCI testing function is also very useful.

Great kit for checking your house

The voltage detector works well to give you an idea if the circuit is live, don't trust it as your only detection method but for a quick check to ensure a circuit is live or not is fine. The real winner is the plug-in tester, LCD display is easy to read, gives a circuit trip time for your GFCI outlets from anywhere in the line, and clearly displays the status of the outlet and diagnoses any problems clearly. I personally found several outlets around my home that were wired incorrectly and must have been that way for years.

Love Klein products, great for DYI projects

So handy!

This is such a great, useful tool! Now that I have it, I find myself using it a lot. I just used it last week when I changed out my hard-wired smoke alarms. I wanted to make sure the power was truly shut off before touching the wiring. Thank God I had this because my circuit breakers weren’t labeled correctly, so although I thought the power was off, it really was still on. This tool was quick to tell me that and saved me from getting shocked! Excellent quality from Klein as always!

Pretty Good Kit

The plug in meter is pretty nice. JUst wish it didn't need batteries or automatically turned on when plugged in to a hot socket. The hot stick works well. Only issue was from ghost current giving false negatives on a wire that was run close to a hot wire.

Es necesario para instalaciones eléctricas.

Hago instalaciones residenciales, el probador de voltaje trae dos escalas muy útiles y una lámpara no es muy potente pero te sirve, también es contra agua que es un plus bastante bueno cuando se hacen instalaciones en baños. El probador de contactos te ayuda a checar si está bien hecho el cableado del contacto, además de decirte la cantidad de corriente que esta llegando a la toma, tiene su botón para prueba de GFCI para checar el contacto o el termo magnético que tengan esa protección ojo solo para probar los que tienen esa proteccion GFCI.

Material de buena calidad pero funcionamiento regular

El tomacorrientes funciona bien por el momento, el probador de voltaje es demasiado sensible, aun estando a unos 15 cm. alejado del contacto se ilumina led rojo y al querer identificar cual es la fase en el contacto se ilumina rojo en ambos lados, solo si estan muy separados los cables se puede identificar correctamente cual tiene voltaje, tengo otro de marca Unit-T y funciona mejor a pesar de ser mas económico, siendo sincero no lo compraría nuevamente prefiero optar por alguna otra marca, ya que he visto videos de otros modelos de probadores klein tools y tienen el mismo problema, a lo mejor el mio salio defectuoso y alguien mas le funciona de manera correcta. Esta seria mi opinión y por parte del envio fueron muy rapidos y el producto llego en perfectas condiciones

Exelente paquete

Buenas herramientas!! El probador de contactos muy exacto con la medicion de voltaje que arroja en la pantalla y en la prueba de contactos gfci. El detector funciona muy bien porque regulas la sensibilidad segun el voltaje donde lo quieras ocupar y con la linterna es muy practico....ojo! En sus pruebas y mediciones usen multimetro !!!! Si lo recomiendo

Las baterías recargables no le sirven

Le puse baterías recargables que tengo, nunca prendió, ya que tienen un voltaje poco menor, ocupa 2 AAA, con 2 alcalinas de 1.5 tienes 3 volt, con 2 recargables de 1.2 tienes 2.4 volt, debido a eso no me prendió así. El lápiz funciona bien, el conector naranja no lo he usado

La calidad de ambas herramientas es la esperada por la marca, y a diferencia de una opinión que leí de manera previa antes de comprarla, la bolsa o estuche para guardarlas es perfectamente adecuado para guardar ambas herramientas y quedar muy holgadas.
