Close but not quite 5-stars; a little lose fitting.

I purchased this belt case to hold a Gerber Suspension NXT multi-tool that did not come with it's own case. The belt clip on the tool works ok, but leaves all the edges of the tool exposed to catch on things. The tool fits pretty well in the Klein 5248 case, although there is some side-to-side play, and it moves around in the holder due to the non-grip interior surface. I use the belt clip on the tool to help secure it in the case, which provides some additional security. My two biggest concerns are that the magnetic closure is not strong enough to keep the flap secure at all times. Sometimes simply removing my jacket will open it up. I think a mechanical snap might be a better choice for this. Ther major concern is that the belt clip on the Klein 5248 appears to already be sprung, after only a few months use! This allows the whole thing to move pretty freely, and occasionally come off, all but the thickest of my belts. This is far from a secure solution, and again, some sort of mechanical attachment to the belt would be preferred. I have added some clear heat-shrink tubing to the metal clip to help take up some of the space, provide protection for my belts, and add a bit of friction so the case does not move so much along the belt. I do still use the Klein holder, although I sometimes opt for keeping the Gerber multi-tool clipped in a back pocket near my hip if I'm wearing a thinner belt.

Good Quality

I got this to use with the Klein 10 fold tool and fits perfectly. Durability I have given one star less since unless I use the same for a longer time unable to judge for this parameter.

Great for everyday carry, I use two everyday.

I use two of these now for my everyday carry, a gerber multi-tool on my left and a folding knife,box cutter on my right. They keep closed, are easy and silent to open. Snaps and velcro make noise and increase the amount of effort it takes to remove the item held. Most time that's not an issue, but the one time you don't want to announce you are removing something you'll wish you had this type of holder. I wish they made these all black, its the only reason I knocked off one star. I don't like the high visibility orange. I would prefer it to be all black. I don't even mind the white logo. But I wear out holders like nobodies business and I've had my first of these for about a year and there's no concerning wear, its belt loop is metal. All of my holders before had the same nylon as the loop and those start fraying or the stitching comes undone. My 1yr old Klein holder still looks as good as the new one I just bought to replace my Gerbers failing holder.

Did not work for me

I bought this to hold my Dignity 18-in-1 heavy duty multi tool. Unfortunately it was a very tight fit and didn’t work for me. Had to return it. The quality of the product seemed very good, I’m sure for a regular pocket knife it would work very well.

Great little multitool holder

Fits my Gerber Suspension perfectly! The one that came with my Suspension only had a belt loop and I wanted one with a belt clip. I've used it for about 2 months and it seems sturdy and retains the multitool with no issues and stays clipped to my belt. The material seems rugged and should hold up to long term use.

Its ok but….

This sheath is well made but the depth is the downside of it and the magnet is very weak to hold the cover closed. I dont want to lose my handy tool when going to be doing extra extra.

Very durable, solid construction

I use this for a leatherman that gets pulled in and out multiple times daily. I run a farm/estate and need my knife constantly and this sheath takes some abuse. The sheath that came with the knife lasted 3 months and was carried annoyingly in my pocket while I researched a replacement. I found this Klein and used it for around 6 months and it still looks and functions like new ... I was suspect of the magnetic flap that holds the knife but it’s never failed ... in fact I’m so impressed I bought the matching phone case ... it’s very tough, heavyweight and durable.

No es tan versátil, como debería de ser.

No me gusto al 100% porque está diseñado para ser multi usos, pero no es tan versátil como uno podría imaginar. Lo compré para una multi herramienta Klein a la cuál le quedó demasiado justa, para sacarla del estuche cuesta mucho trabajo y primero se sale del cinturón completamente que solo la herramienta. Y el broche para ponerlo en el cinturón, es muy débil, no se toma con fuerza.
