Sleek and do what they are intended to do

Throw away all your measuring spoons NOW

….except the 1/4 teaspoon. Or learn to eyeball that. But seriously though, this thing is legit. Bought it for a month long car camping adventure and now we can through away (recycle) all of those stupid little plastic measuring spoons on a ring. Happy measuring!

Dry measurements only

I love the idea of the product, I purchased it replace all my measuring spoons. For dry measurements it works very well, for anything that is wet, especially anything that is a thin liquid, it doesn't work at all. The adjuster does not create solid enough seal to keep the liquids from going behind it. I can put 2 tablespoons of water in and slowly adjust it to 1/2 teaspoon and not have any liquid push out of the spoon.

I thought it was a Kitchen Aid

Kind of sneaky sneaky eh? I could've sworn it was a Kitchen Aid product but to my surprise when I received it, it said KitchenArt. What the deuce? With that being said, its not a bad product. It does exactly what it should: measure things. I love the fact that one spoon can measure them all, saving a lot of drawer space. Using the little rubber slider, you can select the exact measurements you need. It even includes 1/2 measurements which is a pretty helpful feature. Overall, no complaints with this. The rubber slider could be made better however, there are a few instances where it felt stuck and needed a little extra finger power to slide. I've definitely used similar measuring spoons where the slider is of higher quality. Because the rubber slider in this measuring spoon can be removed, I do hope that it won't eventually get loose or break. But so far so good, I find myself using this spoons more than my loose measuring spoons.

Measurements are accurate. A little hard to move position.

I really do like this concept and I hope the little rubber sweeper that is in the spoon and makes the measurement accurate does not wear out and fail or warp and become inaccurate. I was dubious about measuring a thin liquid like water in this because I wasn’t sure it wouldn’t seep past the rubber sweeper. It did not leak. My last two pics show a teaspoon of water in a different measuring spoon which I poured into this one to check accuracy and it is really very accurate. The only problem I had is changing the measurement position. The detents are hard to switch between. You will not be able to just thumb it as you may expect. It took me both hands to move it. That’s actually a good thing as it will keep it more accurate. But it may wear with use and become easier to move between the detents. I have no concerns, even with wear, about measuring solids. I think it will always do a good job of this. But I question the life of the rubber sweeper in the spoon. It would be really cool to be able to replace that one piece as needed. That would be five stars.

A BAKER'S LITTLE HELPER!

I'm constantly losing measuring spoons - how about you? This one does it all! If you're going to be baking for the Holidays - pick this up - it will save lots of time and space in your utensil drawer. It takes the place of all those measuring spoons scattered all over your kitchen drawer. You can measure wet ingredients as well - but you'll have to squeeze down the slider to stop the liquid from getting down in to the other part of the spoon. That's a challenge - but it can be done. Use this one as a backup when all your measuring spoons have been used and are laying in the sink - can't have too many measuring spoons when you're in the middle of making Holiday Cookies - HOPE THIS HELPS!

I have a measuring spoon set that was handed down through the ages. The etching is gone on the spoons, and it was time for a refresh. When I saw this measuring spoon, I fell in love with this design. So simple, yet effective. It is really a must have tool in my kitchen whenever I bake. This dynamic measuring spoon has measurements from 1/2 tsp to 1tbsp in increments of 1/2 tsp, 6 adjustments in total. The slider is tight at first but moves easier with use. If you are measuring liquid ingredients, you need to push down on the slider to create a seal with the bottom of the spoon. This may be difficult for someone with dexterity or strength issues in their hands. For us though, the spoon is perfect. It replaces 6 spoons, and it is really EASY to use. The lettering on the spoon is easy to read. Cleaning is simple, as long as you like handwashing. I think if you place in the dishwasher the measurements may fade prematurely. I would definitely recommend. I am not a pro baker, more of a hobby baker and I love this tool. It is very helpful. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Handy measuring spoon for dry ingredients

This measuring spoon can be quickly adjusted by ½ tsp (2.5mL) increments to measure out dry ingredients – this allows me to use my existing measuring spoon set for liquid ingredients, and use this for dry ones. Note that I’m reluctant to use this for liquid ingredients because the plastic piece that “closes” the spoon end doesn’t make a perfect seal. Oils don’t seem to be an issue, but water makes it through to the “closed off” portion of the spoon. The plastic portion needs to be separated from the metal portion for cleaning, so there is an extra step in the washing process. This is a really handy ‘spare’ measuring spoon that can be adapted to any standard measurement.

Compact, versatile, can replace several measuring spoons

The KitchenArt Pro Adjust-A-Tablespoon is a compact and functional measuring spoon and can replace several measuring spoons. The alloy design is well built and the slider locks into each measurement nicely. However, I found the slider to be a bit stiff to slide with your thumb. I do think it would probably loosen a bit with use. There are 6 measurements ranging from 1/2 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon. The slider can be unclipped from the spoon for cleaning. Overall the Adjust-A-Tablespoon is a versatile measuring spoon with a slider that is slightly stiff to move, but does lock precisely into each groove.

Space saving, good quality, easy use even for arthritic hands

I love this measuring spoon. It’s very easy to use and not hard on the hands (arthritis is a pain). You simply slide the plastic in the middle forward or back to get the size measuring spoon you need. It takes a little effort to push so you'll feel each click and can easily get the size you want without going past, but it’s still gentle on the hands and fingers for anyone with hand issues. This can be used for both wet or dry ingredients. If you are using an oil I suggest washing the spoon before changing the size to ensure no oil goes under the plastic. You can take off the plastic slider to clean if anything gets under it but rinsing means you can finish what you are cooking/baking then just do a full clean at the end. To remove the plastic cover lightly lift from one side and it pops right off. I put the metal part in the dishwasher and just hand wash the plastic piece. This little spoon goes from 1/2 tsp up to 1 tbsp in 1/2 tsp increments. The best part is how little room this takes up in my drawer or hanging from a hook. I highly recommend this product and am very happy with it.
