Once installed saves lots of room

I mounted mine under the cabinet and love the extra room I now have for my tea now that my spices are more organized. The under-the-cabinet installation was a little tricky because as man in my mid-50s, I don't bend like I used to, but it took me about an hour or so once I used a magnetic tip screwdriver. When filling the spices, I first just tried pouring them from the bottle into the large opening, which worked good enough. I think the next time I do it, though, I'll do what the other poster suggested and get a tin funnel with a 1/2" opening to avoid some of the little bit of mess. I saw that others wrote that they didn't feel it was sturdy enough or they couldn't fit the spices in the carousel...I didn't have any issues like this. I still have more spices that didn't fit into the 12-spice carousel, so I'm going to buy another one and stick them. Hope this helps someone.

I like it!

I do like the concept. It could be made of stronger plastic, especially the carousel. Everything worked fine! I actually poured my store bought spices from their container directly into the spice triangle container. Loosing alittle of the spices in the sink, but not to much. You just have to hold the triangle container with the front facing up with your left hand and then what I did I angled the store bought container across the front corner to the back corner of the triangle containers opening! If you have a smaller container say a spice container that has a 1-1/2 inch opening. It is easier t to pour straight into the containers. I also tried a small funnel and it works better. Now its great if you stack them for countertop storage. It works great! Directions could be alot better. Now I don't have countertop space or storage space even in cabinets. So what I plan to do is buy two more and mount them individually under my counter tops. I will update my post. You just have to be easy opening the containers because it is a flip top and eventually wear out. I do wonder if they would consider selling spare spice containers.

Effecient, Clean, and Compact, but Not Flawless

Note: Screws were mentioned included to attach under cupboards, but mine were missing. I was so excited when I saw this existed, and it arrived two days early! Included are pictures of the pods, their sizes (2.1oz, or one McCormick spice bottle), and how they look complete on the counter. I will update when I attached this under the counter later. Some labels come included, and they look great! Do note, mine had a misspelling of "Paprika" (see picture). The pods have a front panel that separate easily, including the plastic window piece, so while it is easily repaired, be careful when handling or the spice inside will pour out the open window.

Will be easier for you to mount to a board and then attach for under cabinet installation due to the screws and holes being so small.

Attractive and useful spice rack

There are several iterations of this attractive carousel spice rack, the earlier ones have dial similar to a clock face that dispenses approximately 1/4 tsp of contents, the newer ones, like this, have a "thumbwheel" mechanism. Either way, the carousel itself is sturdy, compact (takes less than 1 sq.ft. of counter space, or zero if you use the included under cabinet mount. Each container holds as much as or more than a typical "glass jar" of spices purchased in the market. Others have commented that their round measuring spoons won't fit the opening on the individual spice container. You probably can't fit a tablespoon measure in one of those glass jar spices, either. So while true about these carousel containers, there are excellent and heavy duty rectangular stainless steel measuring spoon sets for sale here on Amazon.com that work perfectly with these containers, for as litle as $9.99 with Prime Free Delivery. If you don't already have one, I also recommend purchasing a funnel with at least a 1/2" tip opening for use in filling the containers with your favorite spices.

Very good product for the price

This spice rack is very sturdy and very easy to use. The containers come out nicely and clicks back into place with ease. I like the fact that they can stack on top of each other or be attached on the underside of the cupboards to save space. I also like the fiap feature for precise measurements.
