Very disappointed

Well I loved this until I noticed I have terrible cracking in the lid of my wax machine. I have only used this about 3 times. This tells me it's not good quality. So sad.

Great kit!

Ok love the set up of this kitty. It truly does come with the essentials. My only gripe is the directions. There were only directions to set it up, not for actual use so I had to Google it. Also it did not melt the wax in 30 minutes. Definitely more like an hour and a half. Other than that, it does a nice job and will save me money in the long run by doing my own pedicures at home. Love!

It takes 2 people, so much fun, left us soft

The media could not be loaded. We took 2 sets of clear gloves n 1 set of clear foot covers and had those ready split open and blown out so it would be easier to put on. We initially set the timer for 20 mins for hand setting and after 20 minutes there was still a good amount not melted so we kicked off the heat some more to melt at a higher heat around 145. After my hubby and I both applied the wax to our hands by dipping and flipping our hands. I did wind up using the spatula to drizzle more melted wax to speed it up since not all was melted after 20 mins so the wax kevel was a bit low. It took both of us to help each other get our clear gloves on after the wax was on our hands. We did take turns using the velcro gloves and foot socks. I have to say with the clear gloves I felt so soothed and relaxed but with the Velcro gloves as well as Velcro socks I felt not just warmth for a much longer time but a slight tingling sensation. I kept mine on for at least 15 nins before my hubby helped me remove the Velcro gloves n socks and then he slid the wax off my hands and feet. He acted as my beautician telling me to just relax. I felt so pampered. I did wind up dipping my hands a second time because I was helping him and my wax was breaking apart. I would say let one person help the other, leave it on warming then let the other person dip and relax and you each can use the gloves and socks. Our hands were super soft, was moisturized for me more than him but we both felt a little oily after removing the wax but then it soaked into our skin. We did accidentally drop some wax on our cqrpet as we were removing the wax and thrilled it didnt stick it was dry but flexible wax and we oucked it up so easily. That's a huge bonus. We ultimately agreed we both felt very relaxed but end result was more soft for me and a little softer for my husband who has super dry skin. But definitely an improvement for him. As for my feet after he removed the clear foot cover, I asked him to put the sock back on and I feel my feet are very relaxed and still moist/damp feeling, as I removed the sock after having it on for about 15 mins I asked my husband to feel my feet and he said they are super smooth. Even as I wiggle my toes, I feel very soft and smooth. So I wound up putting back the Velcro socks to keep the moisture locked in a little while longer. One pound of wax allowed us to do 3 sets of hands, 1 pair of feet and if I used a spoon could get either another set of hands or one extra pair of feet. One pack of wax could be enough for 3 adults. Truly the only con I had was it took another person to help put the clear gloves/socks on as well as the Velcro gloves and socks.

Has all you need to get started

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice kit and it is geared to please with it having two pots in one and the inclusion of three different scent one pound wax packet's. The machine is very light and easy to use. The top fits securely on the silicone rubber pot but not on the aluminum pot. Instructions say that it takes 30 minutes for wax to melt but it took over two hours at a temperature of 127(temperature it is set at for feet). The booties are over sized but neck area was not large enough for me to put it on. After wax is melted it is not enough to emerge your feet in so the kit includes a brush to assist with applying wax all over your feet. Kit also includes a spatula to assist with removal of the wax. Wax’s dries fast and is easy to remove. After removing the wax my feet looked and felt better and there was a nice amount of oil on my feet to bee rubbed in.

Fun and relaxing all-in-one kit

Me and my mom used to do paraffin baths when I was younger and it was so much fun - I wanted to relive that with my girls and was so excited to see that this kit includes everything you need. The wax takes awhile to heat up so you have to be patient. Once its heated up though, you are good to go! All 3 scents smell great, we started with the coconut one and liked the smell of it. Me and my daughter were able to dip our hands a couple times each, the wax did start to get low towards the end but there was enough in there for an adult and a child to do one session. It's pretty easy to clean and just a fun way to enjoy at home spas. I do wish it was a bit deeper because it was a little messy but the wax cleaned up well and I'm sure after a couple uses I'll get the hang of it better. We have only done our hands so far but I am excited to do feet next.

Great for home use!

This is a very nice home unit. I wouldn’t suggest it at a professional level though (not deep enough & doesn’t hold enough wax - would be constantly adding wax) This kit comes with everything you need to use it including 3 - 1lb blocks of paraffin (Island Tranquility, Coco Mango, Fragrance Free). I have used a paraffin bath for years for my therapy clients, friends and myself. Not only does it leave ones hands soft after use, it is great for rehab. I am currently using it for arthritis in my thumbs. The heat is so soothing. I remember as a kid my Nana heating wax on the stovetop and sticking her hands it in for her arthritis. This is SUCH an improvement and SO much safer than the way my Nana did it. When I ordered it, I didn’t realize it had so many features. The ones I have used in the past were just plugged in and wait for the wax to melt then use it (leaving it plugged in once the wax had melted). This unit has 3 heating methods - manual, timer, delayed timer. It has a removable silicone rubber insert for use with feet so not to cross the wax for the hands with the wax for the feet. Without the rubber insert, one uses that setup for hands. The one thing I don’t care for too much is that it isn’t very deep. This is a nice way for pampering yourself at home.
