One of the BEST tools I own - very glad I bought it

I bought a wooden glider this summer that required assembly with a LOT of screws. In the past, I had always used a manual screwdriver, finding that the drill bits that go on my regular drill never worked for me. So I started my glider assembly using my regular screwdrivers. It was going fine until the 2nd to last screw...I just couldn't get that puppy to go in all the way, so I looked online to see if there was some helpful tool I could get. Saw this Dewalt impact driver kit and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. (I also bought the Dewalt 40-piece impact driver set.) HOLY MOLY! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING!! This is, beyond a doubt, one of the best tools I own. The difference between a drill with a screwdriver bit in it and this Dewalt impact driver is night and day. Over the summer, my wife had MANY projects for me that required setting screws, and the Dewalt works like a charm each and every time. I HIGHLY recommend this tool. You will not regret it.

An absolute amazing tool.

I have to admit, I never saw the need for this tool. In the past, I struggled with trying to get by and once I made the purchase, I was astonished how powerful it was. It made my projects so easy and I now look forward to tackling my additional projects. It lightweight and so comfortable to work with. Don’t wait… get one!

Great for women to use!

I m a wife who try to help in all house renovation projects with my husband. I keep searching for screw gun that fits women but the products that show up usually just cheaper product but package in pink. I m glad I found this one. I think a real empowering product for women should be like this. So much lighter, smaller handle. High quality. Great price. Great power. I used to need to push so hard, now I feel the screw go right in. After fully charge the battery (the battery arrive charged, but it doesn't last very long) , it is lasting longer than I expected. Did 4 sheet of drive walls without any problem. Highly recommend!!

Effective, long lasting, strong.

Dewalt is always a little more expensive, however I as someone who doesn’t use tools every day still think this was worth it. The battery life is amazing and the strength of the drill helped me with several jobs I needed to do around the house. Has some lights when being used to help see things in dark areas without an extra hand for a flash light which also provides some good help.

Great Impact Driver

Have had one for about 6 years now and it still works great. But I needed another one, so guess what I chose? Yep, another Dewalt 20v impact . Great Product. If you keep the charger and batteries dry while charging, this combo kit should last you a long time.

**PROS** - Two batteries! And they last! - Fast, solid drill - Carrying case has space for bits - Lightweight - LEDs are 360 degrees so you can see what you're doing in low light **CONS** - Doesn't come with single bit holder attachment many others have (it's sold separately) **THOUGTS** It's solid, I really have no complaints. Putting in bits are easy, just press them in. No need to do the pull out then put it in and then let go of the chuck. Also, when you release bits, they're ejected. Great for fast work.

Nice!

Nice tool. Light weight yet powerful. The supplied 1.5Ah battery at 20V has the same total energy as my old 2.5Ah 12V Dewalt batteries, so it last a decent amount of time. You can always upgrade to the optional 3.0Ah batteries if you need more run time. The thing that impresses me most is how incredibly light it is compared to my old 12V Dewalt drill, and how much faster it turns. Twice the RPM. It is sometimes able to remove lug nuts on cars but takes a while to hammer on them. I have been able to torque bolts to about 110 ftlbs as measured by using a torque wrench to try to further tighten after using this product as a test.

Look promising

Got the impact drill today... look very nice. I'm very happy with it. Just one thing is bugging me is that (lazy bag) coming with the kit. come on... no elastic to hold the stuff inside ?? we dump everything in the bag and lets roll !! I have an old Mastercraft cordless drill and everything is tied with Velcro inside the bag but a big name like Dewalt give a duffel bag to trow everything made USA loose inside a bag sheshh... Shame on you Dewal engineers...

Great tool

This is a very good small duty impact. I will use it mostly to roll the straps on my flatbed as a drill is not strong enough to be fully efficient to do it. Also using it to change my wheels on my pick-up. This is where i don't get why some people claim it can't do that....it can and i do it. The only reason why some people can't take off the nuts on their car is because they torque them like reta**** apes. If you torque at 80 lbs/sq in like you are supposed to, this impact will do the job. Just make sure you are using impact grade accessories and you will be fine.

Good package

great impact. I use this for everything, tons of power, decent battery life for how small they are and they charge quick enough that you can just rotate as you go. Well worth the money. Had a black and decker and returned it 3 days later. You get what you pay for. I’m sure the xr is even better but this is perfect for what I need it for.

Should have got this long ago.

You can find cheaper brands but this model is the best value for the money. Strong motor, very light and small. Replaces my corded drill for 95% of tasks. Highly recommanded.
