First let me say

how comfortable this comb is to handle. If anyone knows what it is like to comb out a woolly coated Siberian Husky, you understand that comfort is important. I'm able to get over her whole body pretty quickly, without the comb constantly catching. Granted she is only 10 weeks right now, but she is estimated to be at least 100 lbs, so I will leave an update review in about a year. Gracilee also seems to like this comb better than the stainless steel one, I originally purchased, it was just to uncomfortable and rough on her.I would recommend this comb for comfort and great performance so far.

Perfect for Double Coats!

I've been struggling with a furminator brush to comb my very fluffy corgi while he's blowing his coat and the brush didn't do much for the undercoat. Once someone suggested this comb I jumped on it and I'm SO glad I did!! It cuts the grooming time in half and cuts right through to the undercoat! Where has this been for the last 5 years

Great for shedders

My border collie/lab mix has coarse, fluffy, medium length fur. He's a heavy shedder, but most combs pass right through without pulling out any of the loose hair. This comb definitely does it's job and easily lifted out all the loose stuff. Almost all of the hair stayed in the comb so there was hardly any sweeping up after. It doesn't pass through easily because it's pulling up all that hair, so it's a little work and you need to go slow to avoid pulling on the skin too much. I'm looking forward to keeping his shedding under control! For the price, this comb is absolutely perfect.

It’s a great comb for thick fur

I am a dog groomer and I use this comb at work. It does a good job of getting stubborn dead fur out of thick coats. It requires a bit of technique. At first I wasn’t getting much out, but after some different methods I’ve learned quick short pulls work best. It’s been a few months and no prongs have been lost.

Helpful in taming the undercoat.

Great tool to comb through and detangle the undercoat. I have a long hair German Shepherd that has a thick undercoat. The “teeth” of the comb are rounded to avoid stabbing/poking the skin, but can easily slide through the hair and undercoat.

Corgis Love it!

My 4-month old Corgi has no problem adjusting to it. We tried to desensitize him and by distracting him with treats/teething toys while brushing. It gets dead hair out but I thought it would get more out since Corgis do tend to shed. Will wait until shedding season and update.

Je suis toiletteur. J'ai plusieurs peignes de cette compagnie et j'en suis très satisfait. Cependant, si vous rencontrez des bons noeuds, faire attention de ne pas démêler TROP de noeuds en même temps. Le manche est standard et la solidité est moyenne. Je suis déjà resté avec le manche dans la main et le reste du peigne sur le toutou

Mats are GONE!

My Maine Coon looking long haired monster sized cat had a few mats. The stickler brush I use on him was no help whatsoever. I didn't want to cut them out. This comb is a beast! It took out every single mat. I'm very happy with it.

Excellent outil de brossage

JW Pet Company GripSoft Shedding Comb for Dogs

This dog brush rates 5 stars because it is very sturdy and comes with a easy-grip / non-slip rubber handle. The row of “bristles” are not sharp and are set at an angle making combing a breeze. I couldn’t find it in any local pet store. So, I was very pleased to be able to purchase it online. 9 August 2013
