Make sure what you get
The pump was supposed to come with an adapter that can connect down to a 1" tubing but is had an adapter taking it to a 3"

Pond Pump
Used as a Pond Pump, This pump works well if enclosed in some sort of "pre filter" that will keep out anyting larger than about 3/8" diameter. Larger items will likely clog the pump impeller. The Cage located in front of the impeller allowed small fish (just one), to be pulled through the cage and into the impeller. Not a good result for that guy!!!! Wrapping the cage ahead of the impeller with most filter materials available,is not a good fix -- It reduces the intake ability of the pump and cuts down the output of the pump drasticaly. I mounted the pump (with zip ties) in a plastic milk crate, wife made a net bag with a "draw string" which fits entirely around the milk crate resting on a bed of small stones in the pond, nothing larger than about 1/8" can now get linto the pump to clog it or reduce pump intake.

Very powerful submersible pump, we are happy with it.
We needed to replace our pond pump because our current pump stopped working after only 15 months, that pump cost twice as much as this Jebao. We took a chance on this APP-3000 because of the next day shipping. The pump arrived fast, I installed it the next morning and this much less expensive pond pump is at least as powerful as the more expensive model. I think this new Jebao pump is pushing more water through our filter than the old one. If this pump lasts at least a year then I will keep buying this one instead of spending a lot more money. Very happy with this pump, will update this in 6 months to see if it is still working well. The cord is very long and works with my 1 1/2 inch water lines. Recommend this pump

Failed in less than 90 days- BUT MANUFACTURER HAS IGNORED THREE REQUESTS FOR HELP.
I've used these pumps for many years, even before the current maker owned the design. They have been excellent and had a good lifespan. This one failed in about 80 days after installation. Th pump was not obstructed; the shaft (which is ceramic) broke in normal operation, both above and below the armature, which has to be a material defect. I don't have an issue with a product having a defect, it will happen- but I have a big problem with a manufacturer failing to back it up, failing to even respond to customers when they receive such a defective product. Time to find a pump made by someone else, who will back up what they sell.

Leaks little external but still recommended
I am using it as a pool pump for an Intex pool. Much better GPM water flow than the overpriced pool filters. The hose fittings slide right on. It leaks were the pump seals the hose barb to the pump itself. Very slow& minor leak, but it is there. Still a five star pump

This unit pumps my yard pond everyday without fail, with just the right amount of water creating a nice waterfall for me to relax to. The nice long cord was helpful in hooking it up without needing to splice any wiring. As a pond pump works great but only fall back is when draining the pond it doesn't drain completely and I end up using buckets to drain the rest of the pond leaving about 6 inches of water.

So far so good and you cant go wrong for the price
I have had the pump running for 9 months, 24/7. I live in NY and it made it through the winter perfectly even when the pond froze over. I use it in a 2000 gallon pond and it runs my waterfall. The water flow is strong.... I just took it out to clean for the first time and it was still mint. So far so good and you cant go wrong for the price.

DEFECTIVE NEW PUMP
We purchased this pump for a back up pump just in case something happened to the one we already have. Sure enough the old one stopped working today, hooked up this new pump, and it DOES NOT WORK. It makes all kinds of noise when it was running like a loose bearing, rattling sound, very loud. I cannot believe that the window to return this item ended in March. It was brand new out of the box today and does not work. Please let me know if something can be done to replace it under warranty. Thank You

Pump quit after 4 months use
I’d like to say that for my application, the pump fit perfect and functioned exactly as I had hoped it would. My only complaint is that after only 4 months of use, the pump failed completely, and there is no apparent cause, it didn’t run dry, wasn’t plugged by anything, and the outlet wasn’t blocked. Before writing this review, I sent the seller an email, but didn’t receive a reply. I don’t like to complain, but I don’t have many options at this point. Would someone please touch base for a conversation?

I wish the seal into the rotor area was better.
Good pump for the price. Only issue I had was that pond water migrated past the seal and into the rotor chamber. After some time the minerals, etc in the water hardened and eventually seized the pump. Once I discovered how to disassemble the pump, I was able to clean the debris out and put the pump back in service. I have 2 of these, one spare and the other in service. So far so good.

Only worked for a month and a half.
Good flow but seized up after about 1 1/2 months. Return window had expired so I took it apart and there was no debris in the impeller but it wouldn't move. I was able to get it working but have very little faith in the fact that it will last very long. Ordered a smaller Jebao pump several days before this one quit. Hope it stands up better than this one did. I don't think I'll consider buying another Jebao pump again.

Excellent pond pump
This pump works better than expected.. It was easy to install they do install. The water flow is it's great. The power cord was long enough that I didn't need to use an extension cord. It works well in my pond without a filter.
