Good but they don't last that long underwater...

This has been the perfect lighting set for our water fountain on our front porch. BUT, this is the second set we have purchased in 3 years. The wiring isn't going to hold up under water. None of them do. The set comes with different color lens you can customize each light with. Just make absolutely sure you have tightened down the screw top over the lens as tight as you can to prevent the water leaking in for as long as you can. I did read where someone said to take a little vaseline to add to the o-ring seal to help make it more water tight. This may help but over time the water is going to leak into the wiring housing and then it's over. Also, the lights are very bright and not adjustable so if you're looking for just a little light, this isn't the product for you. But if you need good strong lighting in a small package, this will do the job fine. Overall I'm pleased with the product.

Beautiful but not great quality

Easy to install. Heavy enough to stay at bottom of pond, not like others that don't sink. I noticed after a month that the lights showed water trapped inside, between the color cover and the light, regardless of the silicon O ring. The other day, one of them started to flash intermittently. Today during the day when are off, I decided to take it out of water to check it. I could see water inside. I opened the lid and the clear color cover to let the water out. The whole light element came apart. One cable already broken by roast. Fortunately it was the last bulb at end of the three so I could leave that end out of the pond to avoid the electricity making contact to the water when power switch on after dark. Amazingly, the other two still turn on under the water. I don't know what to do. Leave them like that for a while, looking tacky...? I don't think the company that manufacture them would do anything about it. If they do I would at least give them a higher review. So sad. They were so beautiful. I had another set years ago that lasted much longer, about three years. This one already not much after only one month! :-(

(Video Review) Very nice addition to our pond

The media could not be loaded. I have had these before in a different pond so I ordered them again for the new pond. My last set lasted well over 2 years with no issues..As you can see in the video the lights are kind of a "spot light" style light. The base is heavy and will stay on the bottom of your pond with little movement. There is probably 3 feet of wire between each light and the lights are adjustable in the base so you can point them. They do come with color lens but I dont like them...I like the clean white light they produce so I can see my fish at night. The only complaint I have with these is they don't have an optional suction cup base...My last set did...I could stick them to the sides of the pond and aim them better...I used some small sandstones to anchor mine on the edges of the plant shelves and pointed them where I wanted..It will do. This is a great little light set

This is a great little light set. We picked this one to start off with because of the price point. I love that the lights have enough weight to them that they are able to stay down without having to be weighted. We love the ability to add color to the lights. The only downside is that they are not super bright. It is hard to really enjoy them until it is completely dark out. For the price they are amazing. We have ours wired to a household time inside a waterproof box as they don't come with a photocell.

Pretty addition to the pond

They look great. When we received it they were not completely put together (one light did not have the cover on ) we went with 3 different colors in the pond. Blue behind our waterfall is my favorite. The fish like them. We have them on a timer for a couple hours a night. The 4 stars came because I really wish the cord was a little longer between the lights. We have a 6x7 pond and I wanted a light in each corner.

Still going.

I have three of these 3 light strings and one 6 light string in my 10,000gph waterfall. They have been in for about 5 months now and I have had zero issues with them even though I have had the covers off several time swapping out the colored lenses to see what I liked best. They all look nice, although the red lenses look more pink then red. I use the blue on the whole fall, but I also liked the green and at times had all the colors going at once. (a little too wild for my n-hood) lol. Nice product so far. These are fully submerged all the time when the fall are on which is a lot. Update a year later, all of the lights are still working and still look great. 5/15/2014

Great Light

I bought, on seperate occasions, 2 similar lights at a "Big Box" store. Each failed after a few days in the pond. I bought this light and was I pleased when it arrived. The quality and materials of the light were so superior to the ones I had returned. The best part is that each light is on its own circuit, running from a single three port connection. If one light goes out, the rest stay lit. The very best thing is the distance between the lights. The Big Box store lights had 2 feet between lights which made it hard to position them in the pond. These light have approx. 6 feet of line so they can be placed almost anywhere you want light in the pond. Good quality, Great price, can't beat it!

Work well so far.

I have had these in a 2,000-gallon water garden for a few weeks. They work well and I have them on a WiFi-enabled outlet. This makes it very easy to turn them on/off and they are working great thus far.
