counted cross stitch

Didn't know this was a COUNTED CROSS STITCH kit. It IS a stamped cloth, but stamped for counted cross stitch which is ok, just gonna take more time than I planned. Great colors and really cute. Guess I better get started, ha

Great product

This came out great. I enjoyed making it and had it done in 2 weeks. Not for beginner's unless you have a lot of patients and time. Only thing I would recommend is that the company include some kind of transfer paper so it’s easier to personalize. I used carbon paper.

Nice but very disappointed in how the thread arrived all bunched up without markings of thread colors. It has many different shades of same color and I had to guess light medium dark. Seems ok but with different blues greys and browns it got confusing. So yes, I did the bear with the wrong dang color and now am improvising. If I were a beginner it'd be quite discouraging. It is now 2 years later and I’m just finishing my project. I’ve decreased my star rating by 1 because of how much the nuisance created a lack of motivation to complete and enjoy the stitching. The issue is not only guessing at which color shade to use, but also the instructions are very difficult to match up to the stamped fabric. A major portion of it fails to coordinate, making it necessary to search, check, recheck, guess, and often change my stitches. Again I emphasize that if I were not an experienced stitcher this would be a disaster. With creativity I am able to make it work but it’s not fun to do at all. My beautiful grandson is the only reason this project is enjoyable! I won’t say though that I will never purchase Janlynn again because I’ve noticed that other reviews from other companies state similar issues.

Already made this sampler for my first child and wanted a matching one for the second. It looks very nice completed. I don't remember having any trouble with making it but will edit whenever I get around to stitching this one.
