Super cute!

I’ve made a lot of these as gifts, this one was quick and easy to do, not a lot of color changes like some of the others I’ve done on the past. Only took me about 6 weeks to complete

started the project and with Dimensions its the easiest thing I've tackled to date! this is a breeze to make.

OMG perfectly packaged -- separated and color coded threads! no guessing. I just started this blanket Sunday night. It is going like a breeze. I had to call the manufacturer Dimensions 3 times in the beginning because the separated thread confused me a little as they packaged like 4 strands together and then 1 strand separately of the same color and number but they explained it was just to show you what the 'color' was. I don't think they needed to do this but its ok. Also another negative -- if you have sight problems you may need to take a washable color pencil such as used to mark hems or seams and redraw the lines on the blanket for each item and character as its hard to differentiate the different characters, etc in the center. but once you take your time, it goes real fast. I just love using the Dimension's products.

Love the feel of this blanket. I've done other brand blankets but this one is so much better. Wish the thread can with dmc numbers bc finding a chart and converting was a pain. Excited to start this one!!!

Easy directions - wonderful that thread is already separated and tagged for you

I love the ease of reading the color graph for the stitches. My only disappointment was that there were some loose threads for the quilt itself. I tried getting them in the back to hide, but wasn't totally successful. Will more than likely add a backing onto the back to hide the quilt thread that I couldn't tack down with the embroidery. I found the instructions on how to start with the thread without using a knot for the end to secure it interesting, considering I was brought up the old fashioned way of tying a knot to secure the thread. I'm sticking to what I know, so knots it is. :)

I bought this to make for my niece. If you work on this consistently, I believe you can finish this blanket in 2 months. Sadly I'm not as dedicated. As for the product, directions are easy to follow if you are a seasoned cross stitcher. If you are still learning or consider yourself an amateur, I would recommend starting this as early as possible, giving yourself plenty of time to figure things out as you go. The pattern and direction isn't difficult to follow but can be confusing at certain points. It's definitely worth the time and the recipient will be more than appreciative! :)

Adorable gift for any new mom!

Made the Cuddly Bear quilt for my best friend's first. Now I'm making this one for my first. My biggest concern with kits is the quality of materials. The materials in these kits seem high-quality to me. Not surprising since it's put together by Dimensions. I've been doing this sort of stuff for many years, so it was pretty easy for me. I also think it would be "doable" by a beginner. Instructions are good, etc. This kit comes with everything you need EXCEPT backing. But depending on how you stitch it, you may not even need it.

Loved it!

I ordered this for my friends baby, and was pleasantly surprised. The quilt is pretty good quality given the price, but one thing I'll do to the baby blanket is put another fabric and sew it on the back to make it soft. The thread was already separated which saved me quite a bit of time. It is a simple pattern to follow, and the instructions would be good for beginners. The thread that comes with it is a good quality as well, and it is nice and thick without feeling like cotton. Given the chance, even for another baby, I would definitely order this baby quilt again.

Very intense

This involves a lot of changing colors, wasn't aware there were so many shades of one color. If you have the patience it is well worth the time, so beautiful when finnished. I decided to go inbetween the fabric for a clean finish on the back, took more time, but didn't have to add a layer of cloth on the back. My daughter just loved this for her baby girl.

Ace!

Had to wait quite a while for this to arrive from USA, but worth it! The quilt is exactly what the picture shows, the threads are pre-sorted which is a great help and there were no manufacturing errors. I have started stitching this and it is looking gorgeous already.

Not completed as yet, looks like there are plenty of silks, only l problem I have is that the pattern on the material seems to fade with handling, and would therefore be better if the design markings were more durable. Delivery on the purchase was excellent, 2 days after ordering, brilliant.
