Thread

It took almost 2 hours to sort the thread and there weren't enough cards to do all of the colors. They need to provide one more. I had an extra one from a previous project.

Thread is awful!

Like other states, the thread was in a big ball. Took forever to untangle and figure out what was what. Codes provided for colors are not accurate. The thread tangled and knotted constantly! It was very annoying and took a significant amount of time trying to fix it. The blanket is cute but the thread is awful. Also the backstitching instructions are hard to figure out what they key means. It was so small. I had to purchase a magnifying glass so I could tell what was what.

Thread is bundled together and brittle

All the thread was intermixed. Had to separate by color and decide which shade of colors were which instead of being clearly marked and separated like other brands. Also the thread was very brittle to work with. Will probably have to purchase more thread to complete. Wouldn't get this brand ever again.

Thread isn't separated

I love these kits, this is the third one I've done for my grandchildren. I have one complaint though, and it's about the thread system they give you. It's confusing and extremely time consuming to separate all the different colors and keep them separate throughout the duration of working on the quilt. The little cards they give you to store the separated thread are waxy and impossible to label. Pens do not work on those. Honestly I would rather go to Joann Fabric and get the thread, it's much easier that way. I do love the kits, though.

Adorable, but missing some thread and better instructions.

The quality of this quilt seems good, but separating the colors of the floss included, and trying to match them up with the color names on the chart , was very overwhelming. The floss come cut to size individually (with the idea being you only get what you need) but are all mixed together in a bag and not identified by color. (For example there are 7 different shades of green/yellow green that are so close to the same it was hard to figure out). But what made it so overwhelming when sorting these, is some came with not enough strands or a strand or two too many on some colors, so it was hard to know if I was right on the color names. Now I am having to buy more floss, and the color names in the store do not match the names on the included chart, even though the brand is the same. THEY NEED TO IDENTIFY AND PACKAGE COLORS SEPARATELY. Other than all this, I think it will be adorable when I'm finally finished.

Cute quilty but kit was not complete and very unorganized.

Poorly put together. I had to spent hours figuring out which threads were which colour. I had to sort the colours and cut in half in order to figure out what colour was what. I had to go looking for my own needle as well as my kit was missing the needle. I also find the pattern symbols hard to read (especially the portion where you have to do the backstitching) This is my third quilt I have made and by far this is the hardest one to follow. Its a really cute qualt but the kit needs a bit of improvement. I don't know if anybody else would have spend time I did reorganizing the kit before starting the actual product.

Lovely design

Product arrived within time. Lovely design. Threads arrived in a big bundle which took a little while to sort into separate colours and colour chart a little confusing. But all in all can't wait to get started!
