Quality Product
These are "no drill" but if you're not pushing hard enough, they can bump out the edge of the drywall & paint. Best to turn it a bit and then pull back to get that layer to fall off and then put it back and screw it in. I did feel that it wasn't as far in as I would like to make it completely flush because of lining the arrows up but that will probably get easier with more use. Used for curtains that will be opened and closed a lot and will be using for heavy artwork.

The drywall anchor you have been looking for
These are absolutely amazing. I used them to mount Elfa standards in my closet where I wasn't able to use the stud mounted top bar and they worked beautifully. The anchors that came from The Container Store had begun to fall out, they were complete trash, so I was looking for something sturdy to replace them. These were the winners! I did decide to drill a pilot hole (5/16) slightly smaller than the anchor itself to make them easier to screw into the wall. I found that at the end you should give a good amount of pressure when you are screwing it in and then it will tighten. I purchased extra of these to have around the next time I need to hang something heavy on drywall. Be aware though that they are essentially permanent. To get them out you would have to use a little wire to toggle the bar back into a vertical position, which seems like it would be difficult.

These Are the Only Way to Go
I'd originally purchased a couple of these some years ago at one of the big-box home repair stores, and they worked very well to fasten up a dog gate. I recently was hanging a wire rack closet system in the garage to add more storage, and when the home repair store didn't have these, I was in a hurry and tried the "heavy duty" anchors they had in stock. That turned out to be a huge mistake! The substitutes I tried required you to drill a hole in the wall first, then install the anchor. I didn't like having to drill a 3/4" hole, but the biggest problem was accurately positioning the anchor to line up with the holes in the rack support bracket. After filling in the holes from that mistake, I found these on Amazon and went back to them. Because of the way that they have the pointed tip and self-drill into the wall, they are easy to position correctly. The only issue I had was that one "toggle" portions of one of the anchors ended up being stuck and wouldn't "flip" out into position once it was in the wall. But in that instance you can back the unit out by unscrewing it, and replace it. It also taught me to check each of the anchors before I screwed it into the drywall to make sure the "toggle" portion was free to flip (there's a little catch that holds it in place, and after checking that it's free you can carefully slide the toggle back under the catch slightly, and you'll be good to go). All in all, these are far superior to any other type of heavy duty drywall anchor.

Wonderful anchors
Very strong and secure! Just what I needed to hang a coat rack on the wall. Easy to use, very clear instructions if you haven't used toggle bolts before.

You'll need a power driver
These do not screw into drywall easily, at least not with a handheld screwdriver as advertised. Once you get them in with a driver, they seem to do the job, however, with strong hold and positive cinch.

Worked great with my new 40 pound 60" Sony
I have metal stud walls, I drilled 1/2" holes through the drywall and through the studs and passed these through to mount a TV onto my wall. Worked great with my new 40 pound 60" Sony.

Pack of 10, FYI
This item is great, exactly what I wanted and needed. Very easy to install (even without a power drill); very strong and stable support. Nowhere on the product page does it specify the package size, so just clarifying for anyone wanting to purchase: this is a pack of 10.
