Good unit, phenomenal customer service

Ethics statement: I paid full price. Nobody solicited my purchase. After receiving (great) customer service I was encouraged to review. I chose the iSpring because of easy installation and versatility--the standard-size housing means I could put in my choice of filter (the one that comes with it seems great, but I'm a longtime fan of the MatriKX PB1), the fittings are all standard, and it looked like it was designed to perform rather than covered with shiny distractions. And I was right :) Installation took minutes. The housing opens easily enough for me, but I have big hands. They include a housing wrench, which is a bit pointless for a countertop, since you'd also need a way to securely hold the base (the wrench is for permanently mounted installations, but since this is all standard components, you could easily mount it permanently in any of the standard ways). Flow and taste depend on the filter, and I haven't run with theirs. The MatriKX is probably slower than theirs, but still yields a good flow rate (I'd tell you, but I don't know what the pressure is at my faucet, so it's not very meaningful). On the countertop, it's easy to move the unit around to direct the water where I want it. The exit faucet can also be moved in its o-rings, seemingly without causing problems. They provided lots of hose, easy to snip to a more appropriate length. Customer service: After nearly a year the diverter started squirting out the lever. I emailed a photo to customer support, got a prompt reply asking for the invoice (screenshot of Amazon purchase page), I sent that, and quickly heard back that they're fedexing a replacement. It arrived 2 days later! They sent me a replacement not just for the faulty diverter but for the whole unit (even a new filter). Many thanks to Sean in their customer service team for great communication, very fast response, sending me a spare everything at the first sign of one questionable component, and just generally overachieving!

Reliable and easy to install

We replaced our filter, but purchased the wrong one. We contacted Michele at iSpring Customer Support and she was super responsive and quickly mailed us an appropriate filter. Great product and great service! Update: Michele sent us a new unit instead of just a water filter. Thank you, Michele! A+ customer service and support!

Best product support

It is better than the one the filter came with as it was blue and water did not taste good. The green sticker one is the best. If you need product support this company will work with you. I have used them a few times and everyone has been great. Nick was super helpful this week. FC15 best water filter for the countertop.

We installed the unit and it worked great. Unfortunately we encountered a problem with filter replacement. One letter later and John had rectified the problem! Great and affordable!

The water is great tasting! We had trouble with the filter that arrived and called the company for advice. The costumer service was so good and helpful and shipped us a replacement right away. We were so impressed with the help we received! We are really enjoying our clean water.

Great customer support!

Fantastic water filter, especially for the price! Replacement water filters are also found cheaply! Sadly, the part that attached to the faucet ended up breaking. Contacted ispring customer support and reached Sean. He was able to get a replacement unit sent out to me. It arrived within a week. Problem solved.

It works good and it's easy to install

I have had this for a couple of weeks and I filter at least 6 litres of drinking water every day. It's very quick and easy to install. I don't like the way it looks overall, but I knew that when I bought it. The other filter I was looking at was a Brita faucet mounted filter (which I've used before). The Brita is a much nicer looking filter and not near as noticeable either. But, with the amount of water I filter that Brita would have me spending $24 on replacement cartridges every 6 to 8 weeks. With the iSpring, it will last 4 to 6 months and cost $15-20 for a new filter. The potential cost savings is what motivated to buy this. The flavour is quite good. I moved into a new apartment and the water here tastes terrible. It's wonderful to have water that just tastes good or like nothing at all. The one big negative is that the filter can't handle the full water flow of my faucet. The water comes out tasting very close to tap water at a high flow rate. However, when you slow it down, it tastes great! Not sure if it needs a flow regulator, smaller inlet or something else to make this a better product. I would recommend it and remind you to watch the flow rate to get the best tasting water.

Not enough to remove sulfur odor and taste

Efficient to filter out stuff but not enough to filter out the sulfur and odor and taste that I have in my well water.

Top Value, Flavour and Easy to Install

I’ve used lots of water filters for many decades and this one is in the top 2 if not favorite for all round value and quality. I tried a cheaper replacement filter cartridge and it tasted very bad. Do yourself a favour and use the correct low priced Inspiring replacement. Plus it looks good.

The O ring goes in the lid... not the base

The media could not be loaded. Was easy enough to set up. I found it best to put together upside down so the O ring stays seated. The faucet portion needs to be pushed aside so the supplied wrench can be used to tighten the unit. Once together i hooked it up to the water supply and ran it for about 90 seconds in that time it blew out loose charcoal from the filter and forced air out of the system. Now when turned on it only spits and sputters the excess air from the system for a second or two then it flows nicely. Water tastes great and it's easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for better tasting water from the faucet. I haven't gotten everything placed on the counter yet but my supplied video shows the function
