A MUST HAVE for gun owners...

I use this in combination with UltraSonic Gun Cleaner Solution for Gun Parts Cleaning (on Amazon) for firearms parts cleaning. This has simplified the cleaning process. If you shoot, CLEAN YOUR FIREARMS! Make sure after you clean with this device, you use compressed air to blow out any remaining fluid and lubricate your firearms as needed for proper function. All I have to say is it is amazing to see the garbage come out of small parts as the ultrasonic and cleaning solution get into all the nooks and crannies and get the dirt out. It will simplify your cleaning solution. Be sure to practice with your firearms, be proficient and DO YOUR MAINTENANCE and clean your firearms.

Gave up the Ghost

This little unit was pretty good for the cost. I got 7years and one month HARD use out of it. Everything from jewelry to weaponry, if it fit, it went in. Would buy again but going larger!!

Works great for reloading cleaned 9mm brass

Wow for 9mm brass cartridge case cleaning. My 9mm brass looks like new! Clean inside, outside and even the primer pocket is shinny. Used directions on bottle: 40:1 mixture, rinsed cartridge immediately after cleaning in a HF ultrasonic cleaner. I also rinsed the ultrasonic cleaner and wiped dry with a towel. 2 ½ cups of tap water and 1 ½ tablespoons of this CSBC001 solution which just barely went over the minimum mark in my cleaner. 3 - 480 second cycles later I had over 75 perfectly cleaned 9mm brass. I did warm the solution up to around 125-130 degrees in my microwave and then used the heater function on my HF cleaner off and on to keep temperature in that range during the 3 cycles. Used a HF laser temperature measurer to check temperature. Perhaps next time I will poor the solution out after only one cycle and see how they look. Kind of hard to pull the HF short basket out of hot water, so poured the solution out of the cleaner. Very impressed with this solution. I first tried tap water and dawn dish soap and was not happy with the results. Will buy more of this when I run out.

Got this for my Lyman TS-2500 ultrasonic cleaner. It fit but was a little tight. Still works great.

Heater takes a while cycle to heat up

Size is better than the P4810 for longer parts, but the short time settings are annoying to babysit + takes a whole cycle on its own to heat up.

Gentle and excellent cleaner

I cleaned my grandfather clock mechanism and it worked great. I do not have a large ultrasonic cleaner so I inverted my four inch vibrating sander and clamped into a vice. I set a medium size tub on the sander with a little over two gallons of water and a cup of cleaner and let it run for about 25 minutes. The brass mechanism came out shiny and clean.

This has saved me both time and money while doing an excellent job on my RC vehicle parts!

I purchased this (primarily) for cleaning RC vehicle parts (both plastic and metal parts). TIPS: - if you are using the heating function, start with warm water (as the unit takes a while to heat the water by itself) - to keep the inside tub clean, use a glass dish or even a plastic baggy as the vessel for the items you want clean - just fill the main tub with the appropriate amount of water, add your cleaning vessel (dish or baggy), and fill the vessel with cleaning solution or water PRO's: - I have saved many dollars and hours of frustration by using this ultrasonic cleaner on my grimy/oily RC parts! - I use the ultrasonic cleaner for anything that will fit in it, including: suspension arms, shock bodies/shafts, bearings (remove seals first!), gears, etc... - I have had the best results using the heating function along with a mixture of Simple Green and water. I am sure many other chemicals would work - feel free to experiment! - I also used this to clean my hockey mouth guard, and it came out looking like new! I used water and mouthwash as the cleaning solution, and it worked fantastic! CON's: - the ultrasonic cleaner is noisy - use the lid to keep the noise level down - put it in another room, or away from you when operating - the longest timer setting is well-below the 15-minute "maximum continuous use" limit - it is a pain to keep turning it on after only a few minutes of cleaning cycle (Note: The unit is designed for maximum 15 minute continuous use. Let the unit cool down between uses, and don't exceed 15-minutes of continuous usage.) NOTE: If you found this review helpful, please indicate so. This helps others in their decision to purchase!

Midel number differs from product photos and description

The machine I recieved was branded as model CD-4820 instead if P4820. Neither the machine nor the box had the brand name iSonic as shown in the product photos, only the one sheet of instructions in the box even mentioned iSonic. Note that a machine with model number CD-4820 can be found selling for less on Amazon. The machine otherwise was easy to use, though did not clean well unless the part was in the very middle of the tank, above the transducer. Returned the machine.

Bad product

iSonic P4820-WPB Commercial Ultrasonic Cleaner, 2.6 quart/2.5L, White Color, Plastic Basket, 110V Cleaner is not working from the start. It's powering ON, but not vibrating at all. Finally after doing some digging I found out the reason. The vibration generating part is unglued from the bottom of the cleaner. I will try to fix it, since sending the unit to manufacturer to Chicago will cost me more than the new unit. Cheap product made in China. PS. iSonic offered to replace the tank. "If this is the first time you're using the unit, it's likely that the transducer was shaken off during shipping. Couriers often toss the packages around. If the package is dropped heavily the transducer could be separated from the tank. Unfortunately attaching the transducer to the tank is a very special task. Our repair department doesn't even repair it. We can replace the tank for you if you pay for shipping both ways since you're outside of the continental USA. If you can pick it up across the boarder, we can ship it to Detroit area and it'll save you shipping cost." Thank you iSonic

Works great

I was buying this for a specific purpose and the measurements did not specify the depth from the waterline, therefore I cannot use it for what I had intended. It was much more shallower than I could tell from the picture. you should specify the overall width height and depth of the machine and the useable space in the tank. The capacity is important but the dimensions are also important which the manufacturer does not do.
