Plenty of padding to keep baby safe

I wasn't sure if this bath spout cover would have enough cushion to it and was unsure of buying this instead of one of the silicone types. I ended up choosing this one because all the silicone covers seemed to leave the shower diverter out in the open so baby could still mess with it or hit their head on it. So glad I went with this one! It has lots of padding behind the face of the fish so I'm confident if my kid did bonk his head on it he wouldn't get hurt. The shower diverter is hidden out of sight but easy enough to access that we're just leaving the cover on all the time. Also including a photo of the type of spout we have so folks can compare. It fits on snugly and was very easy to install. Great purchase!

Love it for oddly shaped bath spouts

I got this because my bath spout flared out with some bumpy design on it, and the hard silicone ones wouldn’t fit around it properly. I like the fact that it’s pretty malleable but cushioned enough to protect my daughters head. It’s also super adorable! I do take it off after bath time and let it dry afterwards, and I wash it after a few bath (which is very convenient). Overall, I’d certainly recommend!

Cute, Safe & Washable

This is the cutest baby proof item we have purchased! Our twin grandbabies stay overnight quite often and bath time was quite scary until this little whale came to the rescue. With two toddlers pushing and splashing in the tub, we knew it was just a matter of time before one of them whacked their head on the faucet. This faucet cover is super cute and super functional. It provides a soft padding and because it is foam and fabric, I don't have to worry about it getting moldy. I just throw it into the wash and it comes out good as new. The kiddos love it too! Whale is one of the many animal names they know and it's so cute to hear "Whale!" every time they take a bath. They do try to take it off, but so far haven't been able to to as it straps on nice and snug.

My kids are safer while bathing

I definitely have less anxiety while my kids are in the tub. The only issue is it does slide a bit but I think it could be because the size/ shape of water spout.

Impressed with cushion

Went back and forth between silicone/rubber or this fabric one and and am very happy with this fabric one! Way more cushion than I expected, washes well, drips dry, and easy to put on and take off. Definitely would recommend.

Best buy this year! Amazing value for the minimal cost

It's been a month and a half since we purchased this little guy to replace the frog we had previously which grew mold in it. I am a first time parent, and had no idea what to buy to protect my kid from the spigot. My advice: just get this one and here's why. -the frog was hard plastic and was a complete pain to get on and off the spigot. Like so difficult we never took it off and had to stick our fingers inside it's mouth to pull up the thing to switch from bath to shower. Because it was so hard to take off, it stayed on and grew black scummy mold inside. -I wanted to replace it with something that looked cute, but was easily removed. My son at 2 years old decided he preferred showers so I needed one that had a space at the top for the switcher. This had all of the things I needed. I-it's been awesome!! I hang it up after it gets wet and it dries so fast but times that I forgot, it didn't get moldy. We don't have central air and our bathroom gets sweltering hot in the summer but this little guy has not let us down. -it is stretchy enough to snug on to the spigot and the little plastic hardware that the velcro strap goes through to tighten it on is very nice quality. Durable and strong. Even that strap dries quickly and efficiently when hung in the shower to dry! - the hole for the shower switcher at the top lines up perfectly. But it's still cushioned enough around it to be protective. - the front part where a head bump would be most likely is adequately padded. I'm going to buy these for every baby shower and expectant mother I can. I'm so much happier with this one than the gross frog. Check out my attached photos.

Great buy!

Love it. The material is thicker than I thought it’d be! I wish it was slightly shorter in length as I think it would fit the spout better, but it’s a great product over all! Also my son smiles at it in the tub ????

Works great

We do not have the diverter thingy but this still worked for us. I made it as tight as I could, baby can't pull it off but I could if I tried. As soon as we put it on ,baby lost interest in the spout. I like how padded it is and that I can just throw it in the washing machine.

Cute, but very attractive to inquisitive little hands

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this when my son was becoming extremely active during bath time, and wanted to explore the faucet. The faucet is quite hard and sharp at the edges, and he has a proclivity of bumping his head, so I wanted something soft on top to shield him. I thought that this is a fairly cost effective little thing, but I underestimated how fun and attractive it would be to my son. As soon as he grabs it, the bottom part which allows the water to pour through misaligns, and then the water goes everywhere. I attached a video to demonstrate exactly what he does and what happens with it. Pros: - Very cute - Soft - Easy to put on and take off - Machine washable Cons: - Very cute - too appealing for little ones! - Easily misaligned Overall whether or not I would recommend this product depends on your child. If your child is calm and doesn't jump at everything, this is a nice faucet cover to keep their noggins safe. If your child is a little juggernaut and enjoys exploring every little colourful thing... well, he/she may be even more drawn to this than the faucet in the first place. Cute tap cover but...

Cute tap cover but it isn't the most useful. All of the padding is on top of the tap with just a layer of neoprene underneath the tap. So I don't know about your kids, but my son hits his head on the under side of the tap often so this cover isn't really preventing that. Also, the opening for the water is covered with a mesh fabric. I ended up having to cut the mesh out because the water sprayed in every direction as it passed through the mesh. As most kids would, my son likes to play with the cover too and it moves pretty freely on the tap. After doing this, I noticed that this cover is much more effective if installed upside down with all the padding on the under side of the tap. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed but we'll still use it.

Super pour éviter les bobos !

Je suis heureuse d'être tombée sur cet article qui permet d'éviter à bébé de se blesser sur le robinet tout en le captivant ! Il est facilement installable, très mignon et sèche vite. Je n'ai pas donné 5 étoiles puisque la ganse en velcro ne s'attache pas bien sur notre robinet (voir photo). Je dirais donc qu'il n'est pas pratique pour différents types de robinet. Par contre, si vous devez choisir entre laisser les coins coupant du robinet à découverts ou mettre ce capuchon décoratif, je vous suggèrerais de l'acheter plutôt que risquer des blessures :)

Long, skinny taps beware

It works on our tap but is very unstable. Our tap is quite long and thin (imagine a standard tap but a little longer and thinner). I could wrap the Velcro around in a way to make it stay but it’s not a perfect fit. However, it’s doing the job alright of protecting our child’s head so four stars. All it needs is the Velcro to be able to hold thinner taps better to be perfect

Baths are no longer scary!

Bought this to cover our tap because my son loves to jump around in the tub and I was always scared he would hit his head! Especially when we moved him from the baby bath to the full tub. After I added this I was less scared/worried my son would hurt himself. There is a good amount of sponge over the faucet, there's a mesh covering the tap (where the water comes out), and there's a hole for the puller for the shower so you never have to worry about removing it between his bath and other people's showers! Super cute and super convenient
