Best ink ever

It’s a thick pigment, and writes beautifully. The jar is glass, and the lid fits snugly. I’ll definitely purchase this again.

I liked this ink a lot for my dip pen and have used it with a brush, works well.

Like the ink but it didn’t last long

And it got clumpy at the end of the bottle. Don’t know if that’s a defect or just how ink is

No bleed ink!

This ink works fabulously for me and my dip pen writing. Very minimal bleed through on my paper, unlike the previous ink I’ve used. This ink dries quickly with little mess on my paper. However, the consequence of this good trait is my dip pen must be cleaned of the ink quickly after use, else the ink is dried on my pen nib. I recommend this ink!

Dries up pretty fast

It's running out kind of fast because I have to keep dipping it over and over and over because it doesn't like acting like normal ink.

Very dark and easy to use

This ink is top quality The only flaw I had with it I knocked it over and lost most of it. It’s a small quantity, but worth it.

Speedy Delivery

Winsor and Newton Inks are great starter inks used by amateurs like myself and professionals alike. I bought Black Indian Ink as it has different qualities to drawing or painting with ordinary watercolour ink such as Quink. It is waterproof once dried and doesn't bleed and stays black as black. Quink is great for producing washes and seperates into blues, oranges and purples. This ink is great if you want to retain shades of black and grey but not have the colour separate. Really quickly delivered by the seller too- packaged in a padded envelope

Great product

Great product, waterproof when dry I would recommend trying it with dip pen and also using things like bamboo and twigs to draw with, I can't wait to try other colours in this range they are great on their own or used in multi media projects. I just wish it would come in a slightly bigger bottle. I'd love to become q Affiliate ambassador for this company as I would definitely recommend to other Artist I know. The uses of this product is endless and is great quality and pigment is strong and a little goes a long way. It doesn't smell like other inks and it's got a very low odour. Well done to Windsor Newton for providing use with a excellent their products are of brilliant standard and I never had any issues with any of their products and they have a great range of product created with years of knowledge.

Nice tone

Really nice ink. I’ve been using it with a stick to create art. I’ve marked it down as it tipped over and managed to leak. No big deal, only into the box, but annoying when the lid was on.
