Practice on a piece of scrap drywall first

On my scrap, I was able to produce multiple unique textures depending on pressure and hand motion as I applied the brush. No issue for me with loose bristles. It got the job done.

Once figured it out, it made it easy

I textured most of my ceilings with this! At first it was easy and then the texture started to drip from the brush onto me. The next day, I tried a different technique and only loaded the outer edges with texture. That ceiling looks great! Will use again

Easy way to get a nice custom look.

We’ve used these foxtail brushes to texture a lot of flips. Ya mix up some drywall mud & stomp it on, knock down high spots for a Great looking finish! Wash it up, dry & reuse.

Finally got it right.

I finally found out how they make that spidery wall texture that was so popular in the 80's. I used it for small repairs as I renovate my house. The bristles go limp after wetting and don't shed. Use a very thin (liquid) spacklng. Much better results than other things I've tried like sponges and crinkled paper.

Easy to use.

It worked great! Very easy to use. I had to texture a bathroom ceiling in a rental house and it makes it look more updated. The ceiling was just smooth before. I've also used these on wall paneling before for texture and a new look.

dose the trick!!

Works good, bristles do fall out and get in the mud so you end up picking them out , besides that the crows foot texture turned out great

Did the job

I had to patch some crowfoot plaster. I'm just a weekend warrior but with the help of youtube and this brush, the job looks professional. The brush did the job, cleaned up well, and seems to be well made, all be it I can't compare it to any other slap brushes.

Doesn’t work at all. Too flimsy to even leave a stamp mark.
