Good quality and attention to detail like large brass zippers. Do order one size up. I am 6'1 and 185pounds and an XL is a very good fit. Will it be hot if the temperatures are hot? Yes, but still manageable. Maybe the only thing I do not care for: the veil is a bit more difficult to see through than some veils. Small thing, though.

Doesn't come with Bee gloves

This Bee Suit seems well thought out and I was able to use a weed Wacker around and in-between, about 10 hives of bees without getting stung. Yes, I did get the suit dirty, however that should have minimal to no impact on usability unless you physically damage the suit. With the additional purchase of bee gloves and water boots even the ones that took an interest in flying around my head could not get to me. Please note however, if the mesh is in contact with your skin in the head area of the suit that means bees can come into contact and inevitable sting you so use some degree of caution. The round veil is actually detachable move both zippers to the front facing left or rear facing right to then slowly lift off the veil. This will then give you the ability to machine wash the suit and hand wash the veil after each use or as necessary. Remember this item does not come with gloves to adequate bee gloves are necessary unless your ok with a few hand stings and pepper shoe attire to protect your feet. I have moved away from the hive with a bee stuck to the side of the suit so it may also be possible to get stung through it however the aggressive honey bees I deal with have not stung me as of yet with the bee suite, gloves and water boots.

Perfect, but…

The suit fits perfect and provided excellent protection. I ordered the goat skin gloves also, and they worked great. But…. After only wearing the suit 4 times, it appears the wire around the hood has come undone. See pics. The last nest removal I noticed that the mesh kept touching my face which was unnerving since it was a bald face hornet nest. I am trying to figure out how to contact someone about the product warranty.

Sizes Not Correct for Americans - WATCH OUT.

I've had to buy several types of Bee-suits from different vendors. None of the sizes were correct. I'm 5 ft, 10 inches and 176 pounds, so not too tall and not overweight as such. So I first bought a Large . . . proved not to be large, so I gave it to my teenage daughter and bought an XL. Better but not big enoughI! So I finally decided to buy an expensive one from HumbleBee, and to buy an XXL one. I was afraid of overkill, but believe it or not - I normally wear medium clothes, but this XXL one just fit. If I bend over it grabs the crouch uncomfortably. It seems I really need an XXXL one for a medium sized body!!!! I figure it must be made in "China" where people are short and stalky - so a Chinese XXXL one is really a medium. It's disappointing, but I'll keep it since it's too much work sending it back . . . and they don't have a larger one. One other disappointment as well is that the Cover for the head has netting all around. I prefer netting at the front only - with the back covered with canvas so the bees never have a chance to sting (I deal with the African Bee- very aggressive). The netting is flimsy and folds easily, very easily, and so it touches your back neck. I guess I'll now have to stitch on a canvas in that section, or to use cardboard at the back of my neck.

Highly Protective!

Not a fan of the sizing chart - I think I would have been more comfortable in a size larger even though my height is on the low end of the XL range. I do have to say the quality of the suit is stellar. Although I did get stung once during the first time I wore the suit, the cotton is thick enough that the stinger did not penetrate the cotton fabric and stay in my arm. This means the effect of the sting is much less severe. And even though my “girls” were a bit ornery, this suit made me feel comfortably protected.

Wobbly hat for tall woman with small heads

I like the suit lots, not been stung once on the ankles like my prev. suit. The problem for me is the hat stability it feels like I am balancing a plate on my head and it falls over and the top of the hat blocks my vision and I am constantly pushing it back up on my head. I found a solution and wear my scooter helmet and put the suit haat over it, which is rather toasty in the summer but it stops the wobbling. Perhaps and adjustible hat thingy like construction worker hats would do the trick and fit all heads withut the wobble???

Lovely quality suit, well made. As a novice to the bee keeping world this suit gives me confidence that I am nicely protected from the environment I haven't quite got used to yet. I'm 6'1and the suit fits well, however I am slightly long in the back and I just have room in the body length of the suit. Overall the suit is very comfortable and a much better quality than the ones I have tried on the courses I have been on.

So far so good. My last suit the zips failed after a year so fingers crossed this one will be bet. The only thing I don't like is the zips all meet very bunched up and it's hard to get the brass zip pulls neatly away to cover with the Velcro flap. Maybe the main overall zip should have been a couple of inches longer.

I am very pleased with this beesuit

I am very pleased with this beesuit. It is a good fit, but not too snug which means that I have ample freedom of movement. The material is durable and there are several useful pockets with velcro fasteners. The veil is attached with sturdy zips, but can be detached for washing if required. An additional velcro strip covers the area where the veil zips meet at the front to provide further protection.Elastic straps make for a close fit at the hands and feet. Next day delivery was offered and the suit duly arrived on time. I anticipate it lasting several years and proving good value for money.

Purchased this for my wife as she is getting interested in beekeeping. Good quality suit and very good value compared to some other dearer suits. I would have no hesitation recommending this suit to any of my beekeeping friends.

Humble Bee All in one bee suit works fine and excellent value for money.

My wife has a bee jacket but was stung on the leg through jeans every time we opened the hive. This week she wore her Humble Bee onesy bee suit. No bees could find a way to stinging her. Long may it continue. My wife is exactly five feet tall, the small bee suit fits her perfectly and has all the features of top of the range bee suits from other suppliers which are considerably more expensive.
