Great Replacement For Original

This was an exact replacement for my Hampton Bay patio tower heater model NCZH-G-SS purchased at Home Depot. The best part is I saved $20+ going this route instead of direct. One item of note is that I was sent two packages of hardware to assemble, but not the hardware (six washers and three wing nuts) that secures the top to the heater. I already had these from my old one so no biggie.

This product will transform a heater that has fallen over or otherwise been smashed. Unfortunately the price seems high to me.

What a nightmare.

The reflectors themselves are of decent quality and they fit my patio heaters perfectly—when I finally got them on. The problem is about an hour prior to that point when I first started peeling off the protective plastic that covers the four shiny metal sections underneath. Upon first opening the box and seeing the little sticker that warns you to ‘Remove protective sheeting before use’, your thoughts return to the cool little clear plastic stuff that covers new cell phone screens, TV’s. Computers, etc., they peel off so satisfyingly easily in one quick whoosh. Oh, no—not this stuff. It took me every bit of an hour to remove the miserably adhered unforgiving blue translucent plastic sheeting that was put on at the factory in hell where these things are made. It comes off in teeny tiny little staticky charged fragments that stick to your fingers and everything else they find. You can’t even get a knife under the edge to get it started, you have to pray for a minuscule little corner flake that will allow some minimal purchase, and when you find it you’ll get about an inch of the stuff with it if you’re lucky. And you have no choice but to go through this miserable ordeal because, if you don’t, the plastic will melt upon use and pretty much destroy the reflectors in about fifteen seconds. I would have sent them back after the first ten minutes if I hadn’t had a patio party planned that evening and I really needed my heaters. In retrospect, it would have been better to just freeze to death. I don’t know if the pricier alternatives come with a more forgiving protective coating or not, but I would gladly pay twice the price—or more— to avoid this lunacy. Bottom line, if I had known about this before I ordered them I would have moved on to the next listing, no matter the price. My time and sanity is far more valuable than any savings I thought I might have realized with these low cost things. Run. Run away now.

Good product

Anyone with a solo stove knows that they are great but don’t really radiate heat. After seeing DIY videos on YouTube I ordered the parts and created the perfect heat reflector for my bonfire. Great project and works perfectly.

Great Replacement

Bought 2 of these to replace 2 damaged in a storm and they work identical to OEM. One needed a different hole alignment to connect to the top of the patio heater but I used the old one as a template (after I straightened it out) and drilled three new alignment holes. Both now work as original.

Arrived damaged

Although packaging perfectly intact the item itself had several bends and dents in it. Was able to assemble with some extra effort. Works as it should.

Patio heat reflector

It was just what I was looking for, surprised I didn't have to build one, is better than expected, use it on rainy days while under RV canopy, it hangs over propane fire pit, deflecting the heat to keep us toasty warm

The fit and function is great

The patio heater cover works great. Not losing as much heat to the sky. Wilk consider a wrap to attach at back of this.

Works, but not perfect

Not bad, but much thinner gauge material than stock. As many other said, had to drill my own holes. No idea why so much plastic film on pieces. Pretty scratched up. Not overly concerned with scratches, but pain in the rear to remove all the film.
