Good mount for HighLift jacks.
I tried other means of mounting a HighLift jack to my CVT trailer with no success. This works perfectly for my application

Great Mount
Mount is well made, installed fairly easy, does what I need it to do…..hold my jack!! I would recommend this to anyone looking to mount a hi-lift jack on their rig. Very happy!! I use on an Articat Prowler side by side for around the house and property(100 acres) for chores and hunting.

excellent, worked to mount a hi lift on the rear of my safari rack on my tacoma cab, it is a 1" round tube and it fits snug with no movement. I have the mounts positioned horizontally outward so the jack sits sideways and the mounts hold it securely, i had originally been concerned that that mount was intended to be used vertically as the mount is pictured however it holds tight. Once tightened the u bolts clamp solidly onto your mounting point, and if lined up properly the jack will not budge. My rack doesn't move on my truck, so when i jiggle the jack on its mount, the whole truck moves. Solid. Haven't needed my jack since I put it on so it has stayed there, and no change whatsoever after months of daily driving and several long offroad trips. On a side note I didn't purchase the hi lift locking knob as the reviews for that product stated it was flimsy plastic, and the strength of this mount is that the knobs are heavy duty and need to be tightened fully to properly secure the jack. I just used a long cable lock (gun lock) and looped it through the holes and around my rack snugly before locking it, there are better solutions i'm sure but it will deter all but the most serious thieves. Make sure to get a handle isolator too especially if you plan on carrying it external to the vehicle, with a combination of that and placement of the mounts around the moving parts, you will minimize rattling and safety hazards.

Came with grooves but who cares? They hold tightly
One came with some grooves on it but everything I own gets scratched up eventually so can't say I care if it doesn't interfere with function. Speaking of function, they seem strong and twist down tightly. I resisted the urge to crank them down with all my might but the urge is there and I've checked them probably 4 times already. To my surprise, I decided to use them to mount the jack on the front bumper (rather than the rack as originally planned). On the bumper, at a 45deg angle, I can easily set the jack on the mounts and let gravity hold it in place while I put on the lock washers and crank bolts or, when I really need it and am already frustrated, remove the jack easily. One thing that bothers me (and this is more my problem really): lock washers scare me. I prefer nylon insert lock nuts. These mounts come with the former for fastening the loops to a bar and most of the mobile world is held together with lock washers so I don't know what my problem is.

Sturdy & does what it is supposed to do.
I've had this about a month installed on an 07 FJ Cruiser with stock roof rack supporting a 60" Hi-Lift X Jack. I was a little skeptical of these 2 brackets supporting the weight of the 60" jack and keeping it suspended on rough terrain, but after several outings it hasn't even been an issue. Fit and finish is pretty good. The "U" bolt and nuts could be cleaner but in comparison to other brackets that cost 2-3X these, they are fine. Be careful when torquing, you can crush your rack tubes if you are not careful. It has done what it is supposed to do perfectly. So why 3 stars???? Because, although these mounts perform and are some of the cheapest mounts I've seen, its still over $50 for brackets. These are brackets!! Why they cost almost half the jack itself I have no clue. There isn't half as much material in these as in my Hi-lift Xtreme! I feel the purchase would have been more justified if it were providing additional value like added security but there is no way to lock the mount to secure the jack. I use a gun lock to secure the jack to the roof rack which is an added expense. Also, you can't secure the mounts themselves to the roof rack to avoid theft. Another minor gripe, It would have been nice to have at least a minimal selection of hardware color finishes to choose from. Call me weird, but it bothers me that I have to spend more money just to be able to bring along a jack I already paid for. If the jack was meant to stay home, then I would understand. I feel this should have been standard equipment with the purchase of the jack. It doesn't make sense to throw it in your cab or the bottom of your truck bed for convenience sake, even if you have the space and I've never seen it done. I've always seen it mounted because it needs to be. What was I thinking..... buying a recovery jack to actually BRING with me.

Nice as an Attachment to rail
Wanted to have a good jack for my small travel trailer and accessible easy. When the packaged arrived, it was stapled on both sides and was not sealed right. Then when I opened it, the mounts were blemished. One of he screw down anchors had a scribbling mark on it, like a hole was to be drilled and scratched the surface. ?Just an aesthetic look thing.

Use on my Thule Xsporter Pro
I used these on my Thule Xsporter pro truck rack, I had struggled to find some way to attach my Jack to the box rack and this worked great.
