It was what I expected

Do not buy!

I really tried to make this feeder work, but please do not buy and save yourself the frustration. It looked pretty and thought that my old peanut feeder was worn from several years use. Even though it is advertised as a peanut feeder, the wholes are too small in comparison to my old feeder. But I tried it for several weeks and the birds gave up on it. So I tried to enlarge the holes knowing that I could not return it at that point. Still, the birds were not happy, so I thought I could use it as a regular feeder. There is one other stupid design flaw with this feeder and that is the crossbar that holds the lid on. It has rubber tips on the end that easily pop off and if those come off, the lid will not stay on. I have always found them before, but this time I could not find the rubber tip anywhere leaving me with a useless feeder. So I put my old peanut feeder back up and the birds went to it right away. Save yourself the money and look for something better.

Cute and sturdy for the cost

Very nice feeder for peanuts.

Squirrel's bite wires at the seam and bend them.

It was not made well. The wires at the seam were not "welded" enough to keep the squirrels from destroying it. This happened on the first time I tried to feed the birds.
