Install carefully, to gain most benefit from this product.
Like: Exact replacement for existing old seal. MD building products have always been reliable.

flexible vinyl
Came with roofing nails that are shiny silver colored. It would be difficult to install with out a helper or two. Also would be unattractive with nails, so I used an air stapler with 1" staples (should have used 3/4") and still a helper came in handy.

Great price, fairly effective and easy to install
I was able to install it myself, but it was really hard to get the highest portions in place - I’m short and have no strength above my head. So i had a 91” piece and was trying to hold it straight on the door frame above me AND hold a nail in place AND hammer it in - not easy. All i needed was one person to hold it for me to get it started, but thats not exactly something i have access to. I needed up getting it placed with the nails 1/2 driven, and then adjusted the placement and nails afterwards. So i have a lot more holes in the door frame than what would be ideal, but hey, the thing is up, and it is keeping the heat in and the cold out pretty darn well. It did have places in the roll that were a little warped... when i measured it the longer flap would be sticking up in waves. This doesn’t seem to affect the functionality once the seal is placed, just kind of annoying. I think this can be attributed to the stretching capability of this seal, which is great in most cases but was definitely a little annoying when i went back to do my readjustment. Because this will stretch, but wont ‘stretch back,’ so to speak, to maintain tension. It stays stretched out once you stretch it.

Great seal
Does a good job of sealing the door edges. I made a wood frame and inserted this into a groove in the wood. Didn't work as well as I wanted, but looks better than just nailing into the headers.

That being said I did not install any of this across the top of the garage door like I had intended as I want to see how ...
I purchased this product to seal up the gaps in the sides and top of my door as the cold air was rushing into the garage around the door and then into my house as I have living space above the garage. The install went relatively smoothly, I measured and then cut to length. I did not use the included nails in my application, instead I used my staple gun. My first impression of the product is that it is not going to last very long. I'm very concerned that the Georgia summers in the sun are going to destroy this product. That being said I did not install any of this across the top of the garage door like I had intended as I want to see how the sides do over the next week or so. Installation is very easy, even for a single person, but I figured no sense in wasting another 10 minutes installing across the top if the product won't last. Aesthetically I think the product looks fine. I have white trim and a white door so it doesn't stand out. Also using staples vs the nails keeps it looking cleaner. I'll be interested to see how this stands up to the sun, other reviews don't seem favorable...but I'm hoping this will be the answer to my problem with the gaps on the sides/top of the door. I will definitely be sure to update my review once I've had time to see how the product stands up to the test of time.

This stuff is great!
I had this product on the door for over a decade, I only had to replace it because I re-did the trim and the dimensions changed, otherwise the old stuff would have been fine to re-use. It is very durable and long lasting. The old stuff came with nice white painted roofing nails, which I used, but now the nails provided are galvanized and look bad so I did not use them. I used the screws pictured, purchased at Menard's, they work much better. The strip needs no sealant to the door trim, the pressure from the door forces it into the trim and effects a seal that way, the fasteners just hold it in place, so don't get the idea of caulking it to the trim, that is totally unnecessary. You have to set it in place so it puts light pressure on the door to get a seal, but not too much or the door might hang up and not close completely. The door itself also must have its track adjusted so it follows the door opening accurately. A little careful tweaking gets it right. Look at the bottom seal of the door where it sits on the concrete and make sure it sits the same as before the strips were installed, if you see daylight where there wasn't any before, then the strip pressure is hanging up the door. You don't need to miter the corners, just butt the top strip ends to the door trim and butt the side strip ends to the top strip, carve a contour in the ends of the side strips with scissors to match the profile of the top strip.

Does what it's supposed to
It was kind of annoying hammering all those nails in, especially along the top. Would have been a lot easier if I had just got someone to help. But for the price and what it is, I'm pleased. Seems to be doing what it's supposed to. Don't know about durability yet, it's only been installed for about 2 weeks so far

Good for the price
Purchased this in Sept 2020 and was unable to install it that time. The nails that came with it were too big and very difficult to use. Tried to install with both techniques (with door open and closed). But as shown in the pictures of the product on amazon (which says that the part with smaller width is where you need to nail it on the wood). I was unable to install it. It was not easy to get a grip with the nail on the smaller part of the strip. Finally yesterday May 20, 2021, before opting to buy a different weather strip I thought of giving it another shot and with a different approach (the part with bigger width nailed to the wood) and I was finally able to install it with ease and it works perfectly. The smaller width part blocks the opening between the garage door perfectly and no air or light can be seen from the cracks once the door is closed. I used the standard 1 inch wood nails for the side and staple gun to install the top piece. Initially after installing the top part of the strips on the sides were kind of folding to the inside when I was closing the door but after some adjustments (sprayed some WD40 on the inner side of the strip that interacts with the garage door) and leaving the door closed for 2-3 hrs (to let the strip adjust to a specific position) no such issues were encountered. Happy to have tried this approach and saved approximately $ 100 that I would have spent on buying a new one.

I searched and couldn't find white vinyl seal for the doors, finally found this on Amazon.com. The delivery was prompt despite the shipment coming from NY, USA.The quality is very good and the product is just perfect for the light colored doors in my house.
