Fixed Two Water Jugs!

I two jugs I use every year rafting that needed spare parts. This kit fixed both. Its clear that some older jugs have different threading for the main lid and spigot assembly, but my old blue jug was a perfect fit! I was surprised, as I assumed that I would just be able to use the actual spigot itself, and not the new lid it threads into, but that is not the case. No regrets. A great product.

Direct replacement

Was a direct replacement for the valve on my water jug. So if you have the big blue reliance jugs this is the direct replacement for all the caps and valves.

It was complete, didn't need all the pieces but I replaced them all on on my water jug because they were there

Pleasant experience from purchase through assembly and initial ride.

Purchased through the sixthreezero website, the experience was pleasant and easy. The bike arrived 7 days later, the box was in good condition, and the contents were well packaged with no damage. Only thing missing was the 4mm hex key/wrench, luckily I had one in my tools. The assembly was simple and straight forward, took my time and performed any adjustments per the included booklet. Only items that really needed any adjustment were the front brake assembly, and needed to true the front wheel. This was a present for my wife, we went on a first ride of approximately 5.5 miles and she loved the bike. She raved about how light the bike felt but was sturdy and reassuring, comfortable and easy to peddle and shift gears, and how much she enjoyed the riding position/posture. We have a mountain ride scheduled already for next weekend.

Perfect replacement

I broke the original valve on my 7.5 gallon Aquatainer when I tried to walk over it in my garage and accidently locked the valve while I was stepping over it. The replacement valve was cheaper than a new Aquatainer, so I bought it. It works exactly like the first one (imagine that!) But it's red now instead of white like the old one was. And I'm paranoid about breaking it now, so I've been unscrewing it and flipping it around so the valve is on the inside during storage. One nice thing is that it came with a replacement vent cap. My old one's retainer broke and I was always paranoid about losing it. I replaced that too.

Don't throw away your old water container!

I have had this 5 gallon water container for over 10 years and the spigot finally snapped off in my hands! I went online to look for a replacement and got one to replace the broken one. I had read that the thread pattern on the replacement doesn't match up to the older models. This is true, however, I also read a review that suggested a smart solution. Just use the spigot portion of the replacement and keep you old cap with the matching threads. This works like a charm and it's back to new condition!

Screw on cap did not fit my water carrier

The spigot on my blue reliance water carrier had broken and this has provided replacement. Only three stars however as the the the screw on cap does not fit my carrier even though it is the correct brand and size in the description. Unsure why this is but I managed to remove the old broken spigot from the original cap and use it with the new spigot.

Complete kit, from the original manufacturer

The "blue water jugs" are a staple for hunters, campers, and other outdoorspersons all over BC, and I assume over the rest of North America. The jugs themselves are reasonably indestructible, but the white parts can wear out or get lost over time. The white parts, especially the valve section, also don't like to be frozen with water in them...so there's that. These parts are made in Canada of BPA-free virgin plastic, and are of far higher quality than ones produced elsewhere. Recyclable in theory, although your local blue-box picker-upper might not recognize that.

Good Replacement Parts at a Good Price

I've been using the blue 5-gallon Reliance water jugs for many years to store water as part of earthquake preparedness. Because I keep the jugs in an outdoor shed, they are subjected to winter cold, which eventually seems to cause the plastic spigots to split. It's great to be able to replace the parts without needing to replace the jugs. I hate waste - especially plastic waste. These parts fit my old Reliance jugs perfectly.

This kit does NOT include the vent plug.

The one Piece I needed, the extra I will use.. but I lost my vent plug, saw this kit had it - but when I received it there was no vent plug in the package. everything else, it had not been opened. No Vent plug. Disappointing.

Great as a just in case supply

I bought this as a just-in-case spare for my water supply. Note that this pack contains the replacement parts for several of their different water jug lines (Water Pak, Aqua Pak, Aqua Tainer, Jumbo Tainer) which is great because I have two different types of containers and this will service both.
